We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, strong employee with a good knowledge of and skill with horses to clean 7 stalls/runs and feed 7 horses 2 days a week. Shifts are Tuesday and Thursday afternoon/evenings and Saturday or Sunday afternoon/evenings. The pay is fair/market rate.
Not a difficult job but it is manual labor, so someone has to be physically fit and be comfortable working around and with horses. Should be able to put on and take off blankets and sport boots, know how to feed hay based on weight, be comfortable leading horses to and from pasture alone or in pairs, and be able to recognize signs of colic and know when a wound needs the owner to be called. Also has to have a reliable all-wheel drive vehicle for those snowy winter days.

If you have any interest in learning to do liberty work with your horse, please check out Braveheart Beasts’ web site and let me know if you would like to participate in a clinic with Kaleigh this summer. I am trying to find out if there is enough interest to host a clinic with her.
It would be a 3 day clinic with only 6 people so lots of time and attention. Cost around $650-750 per horse/owner team for all three days.

Tis the season for boarders to be with their loved ones far away but before they left I got a cute picture of Indra and Sara on their beloved boys Cheese Fry and Erragon. And of course Levi was joining in the fun! Merry Christmas girls!

Shifts are Monday or Friday afternoon/evenings and Saturday or Sunday mornings or afternoon/evenings. The pay is fair/market rate. Need to find someone who will be in Ft. Collins over the CSU Christmas break as well as after through 2025.
Not a difficult job but it is manual labor, so someone has to be physically fit and be comfortable working around and with horses as well as have a reliable all-wheel drive vehicle for those snowy winter days.

Does anyone know who this mare belongs to? She was found this morning.

UPDATE: The owner has been identified. Thank you!

This gray mare was located early this morning by Larimer County Sheriff's Office deputies running loose on Highway 1 near East Douglas Road in Fort Collins. We are attempting to identify the owner. If you are the owner or have owner information, please contact Deputy Maxwell at 970-657-4591 or Brand Inspector Taylor at 970-218-0420. The horse is currently safe and being cared for by a kind citizen who took this lovely mare in at the break of dawn.

On October 4, 2023 this cute little palomino came into our lives. It has been a year of lots of firsts for him but it sure has been fun watching him try new things, meet new friends, learn in leaps and bounds, and grow, grow, grow! Frito Bandito, we sure do love you and we are looking forward to many more years of adventures.

Is there a market for or desire from anyone for horse manure with zero shavings in it? If so, I have some and can keep it separated from the other manure that does have shavings. I have two horses that are potty trained to go in a shed with stall mats and no shavings. DM me if you are interested.
