Sweet Walter boy! He was living outside in Louisiana and found doused in a Petroleum substance, covered in blisters.

He was cleaned up and missing lots of fur when he arrived to CO, but look at him today! It’s only been a couple of weeks and his fur is growing in great.

Once we know this guy is fully potty trained (was recently neutered and testosterone isn’t fully gone 😅), he will make the best pet for someone!!!

Leopold and Trixie were rescued from a trailer park in a bad area of Utah. Leopold is still a kitten, but after looking in Trixie’s mouth, she appears to be a few years older 😅 Once she has her bad teeth pulled, she will be posted for adoption! We were so happy to take these cuties off the streets and give them the home they deserve! 😻😻

*They are not bonded, this is a one-sided relationship 😅 and Leo gets along with everyone! Trixie will not be sad to see him go 🤣

This bug-eyed beauty is Catniss! We’ve had her for 5 months already.. 😩

Catniss was a mom in Louisiana. We think she is mixed with Exotic Short Hair and has such a cute round face. She is very friendly, but wouldn’t be good for young kids as she can be mouthy and handsy. She loves attention and has a funny little personality! Catniss is soooooo sweet but like a lot of cats, has her sassy side, so an experienced cat owner is recommended.

This was 💙Tim’s last drive from Louisiana and the angel that he is, he donated his transport van to CKC! 😭 🙏

We’ve been taking in kitties pretty much monthly from LA for the past few years & it wouldn’t have been possible without Tim or his van!! We will be looking for volunteers to make the trek for us so we can continue his good work & help our friends in the South.

We took in just over 30 sweeties last weekend who are available at cokittycoalition.com 😻

Meet Stevie! She is a 2ish year old girl with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (Wobbly Cat Syndrome).Her mobility issues result in inconsistency when using the litter box, so often extra clean-up is needed for her. But otherwise, she’s a very loving, cuddly, talkative, and playful little thing. She does not get along well with other cats, but is very sociable with people of all ages. She stays on the ground and has to be held with love and care. She does not jump up onto chairs or other surfaces, so she should only be brought up to such surfaces under diligent supervision. Another record-breaking year for CKC!! We had to squeeze in 3 final adoptions for the year before we posted. 108 of these adoptions were just in December 😅!!

It was a big year of growth for us moving into a shelter space and having almost 100 foster homes too.

We have adopted 3,100 cats since 2018!

We’re excited for continued growth in 2025 and saving many more tiny lives!
