We have loved having beautiful Harley in both our Adaptive and Non-adaptive riding programs! Regina, his owner, was so giving with letting us lease him each year for the last two years. He's made so many students happy - teaching sensitivity and relaxation to so many!

Since Regina sadly and suddenly passed away early this year, her family has decided to end our lease of Harley, and he will be leaving the farm to find a new home. While we are very sad to see Harley go, we are so grateful for Regina's kindness in allowing us to enjoy and care for Harley until her final days, and hope that he finds a home who cares for him as much as we have.

Harley will be leaving at the end of March, so if you haven't, it's time to say "safe travels" to our good friend.

A lot of the myths that we hear about different animals come from some story or another that got blown out of proportion. While goats oftentimes put their mouths on things to explore them, much like a toddler, they are actually very picky eaters.

This is how to have fun, stay warm, and prepare for if our horse feels fresh and bucks! While we pick all of our horses for their gentle attitudes and the disposition that is unlikely to buck, it can always happen at any time because they are horses. So it's important to prepare your students for what to do in case. This activity is super fun and helps us stay warm in on a cold day as well. Understanding how to handle yourself and your animal in case of an emergency or your horse.
