Dr. Kathy Garrison graduated from CSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, did a 1 year internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, California and practiced for 2 years at Desert Pines Equine Center in Las Vegas, NV. Both are very highly reputable equine referral hospitals. With a great foundation in veterinary medicine and lifetime of horse experience in many equine disciplines, you can

feel confident your horse is in good hands at Waverly Equine Services. Some of the services provided are equine dentistry (a favorite), lameness diagnostics and treatment, cold Laser, emergency medicine, reproduction and more. As many of you already know that there is also a top rated, well educated and respected AFA certified farrier available when you really need that good veterinarian/farrier relationship to help your horse.

Heads up! Are you going to the 2023 AQHA Versatility VRH World show? If so, due to recent cases of VS, they have implemented a new requirement that your health papers are issued within 5 days of your arrival in the show grounds.

Heads up!
Multiple VS (Vesicular Stomatitis) cases have been diagnosed in southern CA over the past few weeks and now TX has it’s first case of 2023. Hopefully it doesn’t continue to spread and hopefully it doesn’t make it’s way to CO!

**If you are traveling with your horses, be sure to double check with your destination state and your specific show to be sure they haven’t placed special requirements for health papers. I have already seen shows requiring that health papers are written within 5 days of arrival.
