We suffered another big blow today. We lost our spunky, ole girl. She was the hall monitor, the herder of the goats and the companion of the men in this family for the last 13 years amd 4 months. This morning she (very out of character) wander off to the busy road and was hit and killed. All this lady ever asked was " what's my job?" If you didn't have one, she made one up. We will miss her so fierecely. What will we ever do without you Juno? Who will keep track of the humans on the hikes?

Today is Bona Dea (the good goddess) Day. We as women are powerful, life-givers, healers, protectors and nurturers. Until society celebrates all that we are on a daily basis, let us turn our smiles to one another, straighten those crowns and glow in the might of our selves, our sisters, our mothers and daughters. Be proud of your power, your tenderness, your courage, your complexity and the strength of your body and your mind. Cast off what the world says is beauty for you KNOW what it truly is and it's not in your high heels, your hand bag, your cleavage or your makeup. Kick the influencers to the curb and tune into what is REAL...YOU are real.

Already getting excited for the March seed germinating group to get together. This year's community garden had fantastic cabbage and broccoli and tomatoes and tomatillos. Excited to see what we plant next Spring.

Last week's chili cook off was rescheduled. See you TOMORROW, NOV. 16. Competition chili should arrive no later than 12:30. Votes will be tallied at 1:45pm. 1st Prize 2-night stay in Casa Dulcinea Tiny House. 2nd Prize Farm basket of Somewhere in La Mancha beef steaks, eggs and honey. 3rd prize is a farm t-shirt.

- No one will put the truth in your mind, it's something you have to discover for yourself

- If you want to conquer a people, create an imaginary enemy who seems more dangerous than you, then be their. savior.

One of the clearest lessons in history;

There is a purpose in distorting history and making it seem like great men did it all. It's part of how you teach people who can't do anything, that they are powerless. and they should just wait for a great man to do it.

Hard frost tonight means that I need to say goodbye to all my summer friends and relatives that were still able to be here. The last cut of flowers, the little native bees, all the tomatoes and peppers that tried to ripen and yes, even to the grasshoppers. Bye friends, get good rest and I'll see you in the Spring.
