Dear owners of our furry friends, with the new year we want to remind you of some of our policies!

First, we would like to thank everyone for your support and trusting us with your fur babies. We really do appreciate all of you! 🩵🐾

Appointment times ⬇️
If your appointment is scheduled for 8am drop off will be allowed from 7:45am to 8am. After 8:10 the appointment will be cancelled and an invoice will be sent. If your appointment is scheduled for 1pm, drop off will be allowed from 12:45 to 1pm. After 1:10, the appointment will be cancelled and an invoice will be sent. All dogs with a 1pm appointment must be picked up before 4pm as we will be closed. We also send reminders the day before to help you remember!

Not accepting new clients ⬇️
We are fully booked out and not accepting new clients at this time. If you have not had an appointment within the last year, you are considered a new client. UNLESS it’s for an appointment on a bath special day. In the future, this may change as we may start looking for an additional groomer and/or bather.

Updated vaccine records ⬇️
We will continue to require vaccination records to keep on file, and their records must be up to date for us to groom your pups. We will not allow your pup to be left under our care without proper paper work.
State law requires all dogs be vaccinated and we have a copy of proof on file. Please be courteous as your pet's records are not our responsibility, but are required for our services. In order for us to stay open and continue to service your pups please make sure to keep up with your fur baby's records. We will send a reminder text if your pup is expired or we need an updated copy prior to your next appointment if needed.

Ways to contact us ⬇️
It has come to our attention that many of you have not been able to contact us. As a reminder, we like to keep our work and personal lives separate to better accommodate you and your pups. To prevent this from happening again, please make sure you’re contacting us during business hours. You can reach us through our page and by calling or texting us at 515-574-9986. We try to respond as we receive messages, but texting is still the fastest way to reach us!

Is your furry friend needing a good bath and a deshed? Look no further!! We are hosting another bath special to help out our friends at Pups & Paws Pound! What’s better than your pup getting his/her much needed bath? Helping our local homeless animals AND your pup getting a Spaw day!

Limited spots available, so book soon! Depending on the level of interest, we may make this a monthly special!

We are doing a Holiday Food Drive with JRG to stock our pantries!

We have picked up and rehabbed several emaciated dogs throughout the years and it's important to us to make resources available to people when we're able to and we're asking for your help!

Please donate a bag (or two) or dog/cat food to help us help our community! You can drop them off at our location during the day, 2502 170th street, or at JRG Supply in Fort Dodge, 1357 3rd Ave NW.

If your business or social group would like to donate, we would be happy to pick up and blast that information as well!

We are thrilled to announce that Britt’s Spaw has won the 2024 Reader’s Choice Awards in both, best dog groomer and best kennel! I am deeply grateful for all your continued support. Thank you to everyone who voted for us; It really means the world! The past 3 years would not have been as successful without all of my amazing clients! 🩵🐾

Hey everyone! We are helping Pups & Paws Pound raise money to help with their vet bill. As well as helping Moffitt Animal Shelter as they have stepped up and helped Pups & Paws with some of the harder animal cases that have been brought in. First we will be posting the shirts they have for sale. Once these are gone, we will be ordering more. So if you don’t see one in the size you need, let us know and we will make sure it’s on our next order. Each shirt is $15. Comment or message us to purchase a shirt!

Hey everyone! We are going to start sending reminders for your pups the day before their appointment. We have had quite a bit of no shows lately, and unfortunately most of time it’s too late to fill the spot. With that being said, if you no show, an invoice for the full amount of the groom cost will be sent to you, that must be paid before your next appointment.

Since we are closed on Wednesdays and the weekends, reminders for Monday appointments will be sent on Friday and reminders for Thursday appointments will be sent on Tuesday.

Just a reminder for an 8:00 appointment you can drop off anytime between 7:45-8:00. For a 1:00 appointment you can drop off between 12:45-1:00.

We were able to get in three pups that were adopted from the pound within the last year, today! It is so exciting to see how much they have changed from when they were brought into the pound as a stray. Words cannot express how grateful I am for these wonderful people that have adopted these wonderful pups! You definitely can tell how loved and spoiled they are now! 💕💕
