Cricket has the cutest smile. Mobile grooming is great for senior dogs like her. She enjoys the warm water, a good rub down and some hugs. And I’m sure she feels better after a good deshedding brush down.

1 1/4 cup of Oat Flour
1/4 cup of Unsweetened Applesauce
2 tbsp Peanut Butter (No Xylitol as it is toxic to dogs. Aim for single-ingredient peanut butter. Crazy Richards is my favorite.)
3/4 Purple or Orange Sweet Potato (Boiled in water until soft and then mashed with a fork)

Ever wonder what this van looks like on the inside? Here is a peek. The Wag n’ Tails vans are fully contained with temperature control for the facility and the water. The table lowers to 18” making it easy for senior or small dogs. There is a bridge from the grooming table to the tub. All tools, table and tub are cleaned between each appointment. And the best part is this van arrives at your door and your dog gets a private sudsing bath with a massage and a lot of one-on-one love.

Feels like fall! We still have foxtails and burrs on our ranch. If your pup goes into areas of fields or forest make sure you check their body daily. A good brushing will help remove little annoyances that can become bigger problems, and it’s great for your pet’s skin!

I have one Yreka appointment open this afternoon, Tuesday Sept 3.

There are also about 42.7 million households in the U.S. with at least one cat and 94.2 million total cats. Going mobile empowers pet groomers to better serve pets, pet parents, and themselves. A mobile pet grooming salon leads to reduced stress and anxiety for pets, more convenience and time for pet parents, and greater earnings potential and scheduling flexibility for pet groomers.

Pet grooming is an incredibly important type of preventative healthcare for pets. Bathing, hair cutting, nail clipping, ears and eyes cleaning, teeth brushing, flea and tick treatment, etc. are all hygienic care services that can significantly impact the wellness of a pet. My labs are pretty lucky to be able to give themselves a bath every day😆. I have to keep their ears dry and still give them a proper bath now and then.

My week just opened up. I have a mid morning in Scott valley tomorrow, Wednesday June 5 , and my 4 dog appt Thursday had to move to next week so Thursday morning is wide open too!

The van has heat and AC keeping your pet comfy
The table lowers to 18 inches and raises for grooming so senior pets can step on

There is a bridge to the tub so the dogs can move easily to the tub

The water is warm. The shampoo and conditioner are natural and biodegradable and the shampoo process is a wonderful full body massage:)

Toby and Roxy’s Mom wanted these guys de-shed. They live on large land and her husband was suffering from allergies. These two smiled like this the entire time. They loved the bath and de-shedding process and they feel so much better.

The main purpose of de-shedding is to remove the dead undercoat, which would otherwise just sit there and cause matting. Their grooming should help their coats stay fluffy, keep them more comfortable through this season and definitely should give them less hair that holds the allergens that were affecting their owners!

Hello friends and clients, I am profoundly deaf. I became deaf shortly after my birth. It hasn’t stopped me from doing many things in my life. I can communicate with hearing people by writing, text and email and that has worked well for my buisness. Since moving here to Scott Valley some clients have asked how they can learn some sign language. There are many apps in App Store that can help. I made a screen shot video of one app that I think is good and my Mother did voice over. If you want to learn a few things just go to the Dictionary and look up the word. Do not feel pressure to learn ASL. Of course I love when people want to try a few words. I hope some of you find it fun.

Christmas Bandanas! There are still some spa days open before Christmas. Let’s get those Scott Valley dogs clean and feeling pretty for the holiday parties 🎄
