EZMC PurrstGraduates 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩, 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬, 𝐓𝐨𝐦 and 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞!🎓😻❤️🧡🤍📚 All red males r***e today! From darkest to lightest shading: Red Solid EZMC Sergeant, now Soup, Red Classic Tabby EZMC Brooks, Red Silver Classic Tabby EZMC Tom and dilute boy Cream Silver Classic Tabby EZMC Blake. Soup has been our one and only produced Red Solid male, and yes, despite seeing tabby ghost markings, this gorgeous boy is genetically solid-colored. Brooks is a gorgeous Red Tabby with the distinctive tabby white muzzle and eyeliner. EZMC future King Tom is a Red Silver boy, with a nice long banding of silver on his fur coat. And, EZMC Blake is a young Cream Silver prince, both of his parents are dilute coloring, so he had no choice but to be a dilute of either red or black. 🧑‍🏫 ᴇᴅᴜ🅜ᴀ🅒ᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: The Red coloring of a cat has quite a spectrum, from deep red, like Soup, to lighter shades with or without silver and smoke mixed in, and then to even lighter shades when dilute comes into play. The majority of red cats are male, but if both the sire and dam are variations of red, potential for red females occurs. The genetics of cat coat colors and patterns is very intriCATe, indeed. 🌈

EZMC PurrstGraduates 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞, 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓫𝓪, 𝓝𝓪𝓵𝓪 and 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫!🎓😻🖤🩶🤍📚First three listed are from The Roars and The Ring litter - full siblings with such different coloring and patterns! Parents are Black Silver Classic Tabby EZMC Swayze 💙 and Black Silver Classic Torbie EZMC Whimzee 🩷 Black Silver Classic Tabby girl Nala is from Whimzee, and Black Silver Tabby boy Cinder is Whimzee's grandson! She passed along strong silver genes! 🧑‍🏫 ᴇᴅᴜ🅜ᴀ🅒ᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: Maine C***s tend to have more distinctive paw and ear tufts (not tuffs) than other breeds. Long tufts of fur growing between the toe beans and the extra long tufts coming from within the ear helps greatly for warmth in the colder months (remember this breed originates from the northern state of Maine). The paw tufts are very helpful when walking in snow (as exhibited in Cinder's grad pic!) #

EZMC PurrstGraduates 𝓙𝓸𝓼𝓲𝓮 and 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐞!🎓😻🤎 🖤📚Nearly a year apart, these gorgeous Brown Classic Tabbies are half-siblings - their Cat Daddy is the now-retired Black Smoke King Miles. We love our classics here at EZMC and are admittedly biased to the Brown Classic due to our Maine Man, Ezee P. Maines, Pawfessor Emeowritus 🧑‍🏫 ᴇᴅᴜ🅜ᴀ🅒ᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: The Brown Classic Tabby is regarded as the "original" and most traditional color/pattern of a Maine C**n. Tabby is 𝙣𝙤𝙩 a breed of cat, it is a pattern, and there are a few types of tabby patterns. The Classic Tabby pattern, also known as marbled or blotched has thick bands of color with a distinctive "bulls eye" swirl on either side of the body and "butterfly wings" of color at their shoulders. Brown tabbies range in cool to warm tones of black, brown, cream, with their signature tabby eyeliner.🎯

EZMC PurrstGraduate 𝓟𝓱𝓸𝓮𝓫𝓮!🎓😻🤎 🧡 🐢 Gorgeous Goddess Phoebe (née Alice) was the second born from our Last of the Meowhicoons litter. She moved to the Northeast right around this time of year a few winters ago. She is one of only two Brown Classic Torbies ever pawblished at Ezee Maines, so a rare C**nllectible from us! 📚😽🧑‍🏫 ᴇᴅᴜ🅜ᴀ🅒ᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: A "Torbie" combines the coat pattern names of Tortoiseshell and Tabby. This is a distinctive coat, sometimes referred to as "reverse torties." This pattern occurs when a cat has tabby stripes within the patches of tortoiseshell markings.

"Piping," musically, means the music of pipes. In zoological terms, it refers to a shrill, whistling cry especially of birds. Since the Twelve Days of Christmas song cites birds so heavily, maybe the Pipers here are of the winged animal type and not the two-legged musician type? It's a reach, we know 🪽😹

🎶On the 10th Day of C**nmas, my true love gave to me...ten Lords a Leaping...🎶🔟👑🤸‍♂️🐸😸😻 We are sharing our "glow-ups" to round out the end of the year...our tenth update is the regal EZMC Blake from our The C***stone - a Romaince litter born 4/6/24. Cream Silver Classic Blake was the lone lord out of his litter full of ladies. He is both an active and studious boy, enjoying life with his Bengal sister in Miami. 🌴 Read more about Blake here: https://www.ezeemaines.com/reviews 👩‍🏫𝓕𝓾𝓷 𝓕𝓪𝓬𝓽: Maine C***s are natural CAThletes and are excellent at leaping from one surface to another with ease and precision, despite their larger than average build. A fit MC can jump up to six times their body length. Although, their leaping prowess is a sight to see, care should be taken, especially during their developing years, as injuries can occur from their heavy bodies jumping from high places and landing on hard surfaces. So, let your MCs be the innate athlete they are, but be sure their training space is safe to avoid injury!

Now Voodoo, this bewitching Black Silver Classic Torbie keeps her family on their toes in South Florida. Voodoo has always been an active girl who held her own amongst her brother-heavy littermates. Out of the six ladies, all are torties or torbies, except Baby Rachel, who is a Cream Silver Classic Tabby. And of the two boys on the right: Red Silver Classic Tabby TomCat, and the Maine Man who started this whole idea and for whom our cattery is named...Ezee P. 🎶On the 7th Day of C**nmas, my true love gave to me...seven Swagly Swimming...🎶7️⃣🦢🏊😸😻 We are sharing our "glow-ups" to round out the end of the year...our seventh update is EZMC Jimmy from our Spring Days litter born 3/20/23. Now Auggie, and living in the great state of Texas ⭐ big Brown Classic Tabby Auggie is full of swagger, and quite the outdoorsman! This boy makes all of the rounds - duck ponds, pet stores, breweries, you name it, he's probably socialized there! They have the tools to be expert swimmers and they don't shy away from water, but do they "love" to swim? 🎶On the 6th Day of C**nmas, my true love gave to me...six Beasts a-laying...🎶6️⃣🪿🥚😸😻We are sharing our "glow-ups" to round out the end of the year...our sixth update is a duo from two separate EZMC litters: young lady EZMC Cora from The Last of the Meowhicoons litter born 9/9/21 and her ginger brother EZMC Mason from our Spring Days litter born 3/20/23. Cora, now Lovebug and Mason live near the beaches of North Carolina, enjoy many outdoor excursions, are well-known in their community, and are loved by a wonderful family! They seem similar to Maine C***s as they are adorned with quite the array of plumage having a beard, muffs, feathered feet, are known for their gentleness and make wonderful pets!
