Puppy training should start the second your new puppy comes home. And I’m not talking about obedience either. Here are the first things I work on with every puppy as soon as possible:

1. Crate training
2. Potty training
3. Exposure outside of the the home (safely)
4. Hand feeding
6. Comfortably wearing a collar and leash in the home
7. Long leash or retractable outside
8. Name recognition / recall

Cali 💚 this beautiful pocket bully is the sweetest girl at about 30lbs and is an absolute Velcro dog. She will cuddle next to you all day, she also enjoys playing fetch and is very food motivated. She is learning all her basic obedience commands and is already house broken and crate trained.

She is currently living with my family, toddler, and senior Dachshund mix. She gets along with pretty much everyone but can be overly interested in other animals so I believe she would fit best with another playful dog.

Boo is an anxious and fearful dog that has resorted to reactivity and in some cases even biting. Boo is learning to trust in his handlers that they will lead him with confidence. We are working to gradually condition him to situations or stimuli that would typically cause him any stress or anxiety, as well as show him that he can trust we will control the environment and keep him safe. Fall in love with the process of training with your dog, the mistakes and the successes. Try to learn more about your dog, invest in your relationship to get the most out it.
