Grief is a journey we all face, but no one should walk it alone. 👫🏾👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏽 This , we want to celebrate those we’ve lost—both two-legged and four. Their memories make us smile and bring warmth to our hearts. 💜

A loving thank you to the incredible Children's Bereavement Center, who we recently had the honor of partnering with for their beautiful Connect and Remember event, bringing those who've lost a loved one together for an uplifting commemoration. The Children’s Bereavement Center empowers children, young adults and their families to adjust to life after the loss of a loved one within a supportive community of their peers, promoting healing and growth. Our therapy dogs and their amazing handlers were there to offer a friendly paw to lean on. 🐾 Shout out to therapy dogs Charli, Douglas, Dorothy and Charlie!

This partnership is a testament to the impact of meaningful connections. A special thank you to the Community Foundation of Broward, as well as the Nonprofit Executive Alliance and the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship in South Florida for fostering the networking opportunities that made this collaboration possible. Together, we’re creating brighter moments for those in need.

Meet therapy dog Hank! Hank is a 4-year-old Cavapoo with a peppy personality that can light up a room. As a rescue he has an intuitive way about him and is very empathetic. It’s as if he knows he was saved and wants to pay it forward. Hank is also always happy. This is one of his super powers – when you’re around him, you can’t help but smile and relax. Hank has been a therapy dog with Canine Assisted Therapy for two years and specializes in visits with isolated seniors, at-risk youth, and students who need an extra dose of encouragement. He loves working with Big Brothers Big Sisters and uses his charm to encourage engagement and connection.
