***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM OUR FOUNDER DR. ROBERT SW***ER***
Dear Friends –
Founding Animal Eye Guys will always be my proudest accomplishment and I thank you for being part of my journey. Without your support and trust, my team and I would not have been able to provide ophthalmology care to thousands of animals in South Florida, including your own.
That said, December 17th will be my last day in my current position; I am stepping back to spend more time with my family and explore new opportunities as they arise. I do plan to continue working part-time, 3-4 days per month, rotating between different clinics where I am needed. I anticipate this will be challenging for a while but rest assured, Animal Eye Guys will continue to provide excellent ophthalmology care for your beloved furry and feathered friends.
Additionally, Dr. Alessandra Keenan has decided to relocate to Atlanta to be closer to family and Dr. Cherlene Delgado is continuing to enjoy motherhood; both are currently working part-time schedules.
Our residents, Drs. Morgan Bertram and Richard Diaz, will be completing their programs later this month and will be joining our full-time, boarded Veterinary Ophthalmologists (Drs. Jessica Martinez, Laura Proietto, Amy Baker, Taryn Overton, and Lindsay Seyer). I am confident that I work with the greatest set of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in the country and know that I leave you in great hands.
It has been an honor to work so closely with so many of you for the past 13 years, becoming friends and family as we worked together to care for your pets.
