Flashback to June 1, 2019, an unforgettable night in The Woodlands, Texas, when our whole family—had the privilege of spending time with the legend himself, Jimmy Buffett, the night before his show. Andrew told Jimmy he looked like his Paw-Paw, and with that classic Buffett charm, he replied, “You must have a good-looking Paw-Paw.”

Jimmy even shared pictures of his boat being built—likely the first Last Mango Freeman/Merritt. It was an evening we’ll never forget, spending time with one of my heroes, who was as genuine and down-to-earth as you’d hope. He was full of stories and had that laid-back vibe we all admire. He’s still our hero, and knowing our client base, he’s probably one of yours too.

Here’s to the man who taught us that ‘Wrinkles will only go where the smiles have been’—whether on the water or just enjoying dinner. RIP, Legend. 👑⛵🐟
