They say she is an absolute snuggle bug and has no trouble hopping up on the lounge chair with just her three-legs. She explored the beach for the first time and was even chasing the waves! 🌊 Zena is about 8-years-old and an easygoing pup that is wonderful with kids and previously lived in a home with five cats. Mary-Ann had the best day out at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park! 🌳🐾 She loved strolling the trails, sniffing all the new smells, and watching boats glide by the water. Lucas Hudson chose to renovate the office and lobby of Abandoned Pet Rescue for his Eagle Project because helping animals has always been his lifelong passion.
Lucas is a member of Eagle Scout Troop 406, chartered by Lighthouse Fellowship Church in Tamarac. He designed, fundraised, and executed this momentous project throughout 2024.
With the help of his fellow Scouts and volunteers, APR's beautiful new office was built, and the lobby and hallways were painted last month. Lucas said he chose to support APR after learning it relies on volunteers and directs the majority of its funds to help abandoned animals.
�This project is a win-win for the shelter and for scouting! Thank you, Lucas, and all the members of Eagle Scout Troop 406. 🌟🐶😺

Just kidding!!! I’m Agent Whiskers, and I am Double-O Cute! But Bond really is my hero.🧡My favorite Bond movies are (surprise!) GoldenEye and Octopussy-cat! As a 2-year-old secret agent, I look forward to solving mysteries, getting the bad guys, and then being romantic afterwards…me-owwww!😻I’m especially looking forward to spying on someone while they are in the bathroom…I have to find out what humans do in there!!! 🧐 So what do you think? Roomba is dreaming of a home for 2025. This sweet girl is only 1 and a half years old and is the perfect mix of sweet and playful. She has been here for 295 days and will soon join the unfortunate 365+ club along with several other cats who have been at our shelter for over a year.
