When I lived in San Francisco I was a dog walker and trainer. I also studied photography for years. I loved putting the two together. Training dogs to be part of a pack, sit, stand, down, stay and come when called led to many fun shots with the beautiful Bay Area as backdrop. I’ve been thinking about a photo book for a while and I think now might be the time.

We’re here waiting for you little ones! This photo was taken at 9:15 PM. It’s very dark out as the city of pompano dims street lights near the beaches for the sea turtles that come to lay their eggs every Summer. We’ve been coming out every night hoping to catch the babies hatching or mama laying eggs. There are many small areas marked off like this one where mama turtles have layed their eggs. So exciting!
