Indoor Round Pen, Dry Pastures, Outdoor Wash Stalls, Indoor Wash Stall with Hot and Cold Water, Large/Small Paddocks and Pastures All Fenced with Four Strand Electric Fencing, Pastures/Paddocks Equipped with Water and Run-Ins, and Miles of Trails to Ride!

My name is Meghan Winlack, and I am proud to serve my second term as Vice President of the Mason Dixon Paso Fino Region. My journey with Paso Fino horses spans over 35 years, during which I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for their beauty, brio, and versatility.

As a youth, my passion for horseback riding began on trails, where I fell in love with the Paso Fino breed. While I took a brief hiatus from horses to focus on school and raising my children, I returned to the equestrian world over a decade ago, rekindling my connection with these incredible horses.

Today, my family and I own and operate La Rosa De La Montaña Stable in Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania. At our stable, we specialize in boarding, breeding, and showing Paso Finos, celebrating their unique attributes both regionally and nationally. My daughters and I enjoy exploring all aspects of the Paso Fino’s versatility, from trail riding and parades to clinics and competitions.

As Vice President, I am committed to promoting the Paso Fino breed and fostering a vibrant, welcoming community for fellow enthusiasts. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Paso Finos or just discovering this extraordinary breed, I encourage you to join us at one of our events. Nationals has been successful! I’m a few days behind with the posts. I took fifth out of 17 on Copa. Tonyyami Hernandez took reserve on Copa in Geldings for Gold. I won third on Triton. And won Reserve National Champion on Naiad. Rick Shaffer also won Reserve National Champion on Naiad.

First day at Nationals was a success! I was just really bad and taking pictures today. Jimmy Alejandro Bedoya Rios placed sixth in his class on Copa. Tonyyami Hernandez won third on Doña out of 19. And I won reserve on Luna in 36-48 month fino fillies! Excited about the rest of the show. So thankful to be surrounded by great friends, would never be here without everyone’s hard work. Rick Shaffer, Tony Yami Hernandez and Jimmy Bedoya. Let’s keep it going, even with the hurricane joining us today!

La Rosa had a great show at the Bluegrass Triple Crown.
Need to thank Rick Shaffer and Jimmy Bedoya for all there work with the horses. Luna had a great first show placing first in professional and amateur 36-48 month old fino fillies. Naiad placed first in professional and amateur.
Camilia won her class and championship. Rosita took second and Reserve.
Tritón placed first in the professional class and championship. He also took first in the amateur class and reserve champion in the championship.
Sophia Winlack also had great rides with Triton winning her class and Championship! 🥇🥇❤️🌹🌹

Good first day in Lexington Kentucky at the Bluegrass Triple Crown. The babies Rosita and Camilla did great took first and second in Bella Forma with Rick Shaffer and Jimmy Bedoya. Naida took first in her class with Rick Shaffer and Meghan Winlack. Luna entered the ring for the first time today placing first with both Rick Shaffer and Meghan Winlack. Jimmy Bedoya took second on Dońa and Sophia Winlack won her class and Meghan Winlack won her class and championship! Triton won with Sophia Winlack in youth performance. Here at Fifala Farms, we strive to be more than just another horse farm. We care about our riders, boarders, and horses as if they were our own. Our farm has been operating over 30 years prominently as a Paso Fino farm, however we open our arms to any horse breed and horse enthusiasts. We are located between the picturesque Tuscarora Ridge and Kittatinny Ridge of the Appalachian Mountains. Our farm also backs up to the Conococheague Creek. Our location allows for breath-taking views, as well as the opportunities for trail rides and more!
