It was a beautiful day for a visit to the dog park with my fellow dog park committee members. We have 9 pooches between the four of us! Lol
And a big Happy Birthday to our one and only Linda Smith! Here’s to many many more!!🎂🎈🎉

Canine Corral Dog Park
The Fort Madison Parks, Recreation and Docks Board were looking for a way to repurpose two unused slow pitch softball fields at Fort Madison's Rodeo Park. Citizens had previously suggested a dog park and it seemed a natural fit to turn one of the softball fields into a dog park. The location featured already had a parking area and playground equipment located on the other side of the road.

Thank you so much to the FMHS Green Team for their wonderful help with mulching the trees before winter today! What a great group of kids and thank you to our own Kay Peterson for leading them on these project days! You’re the best!! 👏👏👏

Our pooches need a drinking fountain! We will be moving the one in the parking lot into the small dog side and putting a new one in the big dog side!
