🐾🦴First batch of Rosie’s Classic drop biscuits since our beloved Rosie crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. She loved these biscuits especially when I added her favorite ingredient peanut butter. Baking these today for my doggy clients I walk in Baxter brought back happy memories of my Rosie and Abby. I know they have an unlimited supply of biscuits in heaven. I’m thankful that Susanna Stuart asked me to help her walk dogs in the neighborhood a year and half ago because now I still have doggy’s to bake for since both our girls are now gone. Give your dogs an extra biscuit today and snuggle a bit longer this holiday season I wish I could do the same. 🐾🦴

Our sweet Rosie Red has been struggling for a long stretch with a cough that won’t break. We are on our 3rd round of meds and they are taking a ‘ruff’ toll on our precious girl. Made a big batch of Rosie’s tonight and she gobbled up 2. Thankful her appetite is still good. We are thankful each day for wet kisses and tail wags. Happy National Dog Day to our sweet sassy still in charge baby girls! They loved our time in Snowshoe this summer. Cool mountain breezes and lots of good smells! We are thankful each day for more tail wags and wet kisses.

🦴First batch of biscuits are in the oven! I use unsweetened applesauce and eggs as a binder to hold the oat Rosie’s together. My kids actually eat the same treat I just add chocolate chips! 🍌🍎🥚

I always add ground Chia Seeds to my Rosie’s Homemade Doggy Biscuits. I ground the seeds with my braun coffee bean grinder. I also add them often to my smoothies, kids baked goods and to my yogurt cups.

I love feeding my pups green beans and many times Rosie’s Biscuits include cooked green beans. I always buy frozen beans from Costco or Harris Teeter. They are are great option for their meals in addition to protein and carbs.

🦴One ingredient I always put in my Rosie’s biscuits is ground flax seeds. I mix it in with the whole wheat flour and it’s a healthy added benefit for all pups young and old! I also add them to the peanut butter energy balls I make for my human children! 🦴

🦴Quick tip if you buy the seeds whole use your coffee bean grinder to pulse the seeds for baking!

Love my new cookie cutter! It makes a bigger biscuit perfect for a larger dog or you can always break them apart. I give my girls a large biscuit every morning, but since they inhale their food I always break into 4 pieces.
