Ares the Great Dane and Prometheus the Belgian Malinois both came in with ear infections. After running an ear cytology, we sent them home with the right medications to get those ears feeling better in no time! 💙

How adorable is Louis? He is also only 8 months old! He came to see us as mom noticed a lump on his stomach. After and exam, we determined it was a histiocytoma which is a benign mass of young animals. Louis was very happy to hear this news.

How cute is this little face? Apollo came to see us for back pain. After an exam and some snuggles Apollo was sent home with pain meds and instructed to rest. I think his face says it all and he was not happy to hear that he had to rest. Per mom, Apollo is feeling much better and is on the road to recovery.

Arlo was showing off his cute little octopus bandage wrap on his head. He had to have an ear hematoma repaired and did not mine his cone or bandage. Arlo will follow up with his general practice to ensure he is all healed up. Fun fact about Arlo, he was a dog model as a puppy.

With the heat still in full swing, remember that our furry friends feel it too! Walking your dog in hot weather can lead to heatstroke and other injuries. Here's why: Concrete and asphalt retain heat, making it much hotter for your pet, and these surfaces can burn their paw pads. When it’s above 80-85 degrees, it’s best to walk your dog in the early morning or at dusk. If that’s not possible, keep walks short and stay on the grass. Always provide plenty of water and watch for signs of heatstroke, such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, and confusion. If you notice any of these, bring your pet to us right away.

I had a little adventure recently—I escaped from the house for a few minutes! It was super exciting, but I ended up with a small wound on my side. Boo! My pet parent took me straight to UrgentVet to get fixed up. The team there took great care of me. They were so nice, I hardly even noticed I was at the “scary vet’s office” (lol). They treated my owie, and now I’m on antibiotics to help me heal. 🩹💊 Thanks, UrgentVet! Can’t wait for more adventures (safe ones!).
Meet Beans! Beans is one of our team members Boykin Spaniels who got into dock diving this year. This little 23lb dog is jumping with the "big dogs" at a personal best of 15'10. She received her dock master title this past weekend! Congrats Beans!!

Meet Oreo. He came to see us for an upset tummy. Oreo was all smiles after he received his treatments and medications to go home. Per mom, he is feeling much better! We just loved this sweet boy.
It's safe to say that Hank was very well loved while he had to hang out with us for a little while after his sedated procedure. He was so brave and was awarded the sweetest face award of the day.

Miss Sibby had the absolute cutest little pink ears. She came to see us for an upset tummy. After and exam and cuddles, we ran some diagnostics on her and treated her symptoms and sent her home with medications to help her feel better.

Legend was just the best boy. He came to see us for some allergies(not food allergies). He enjoyed the cheese he was given. Did you know our team is fear free certified? We want to make sure your baby has a positive experience at our clinic, so we do use lots of treats (if able) to help ease their anxiety. Legend went home with medications to help him feel better.
Sweet Pepper came to see us after a tail injury. After an exam, we bandaged her tail and treated her with pain medications. We entyced her with Churu and she had no problem letting us bandage it. Wishing you a speedy recovery

One of our cute kitten patients came in for really itchy ears. We quickly discovered that he had these little friends hanging out in his ear canals. These moving objects are what ear mites look like under a microscope. Unfortunately, ear mites are very common in kittens.
