horse and owner. We are a non competitive stable that focus on riding for fun. We offer trail riding, hourly riding for fun, lessons, and much more all with a natural horsemanship focus. We’re back! This weeks horse of the week is Phoenix. Phoenix is a gorgeous chestnut mare. She definitely lives up to her name as she can be a wild one at times. She loves to get attention and spend her days grazing!

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Cowboy! Cowboy is a paint horse and is one of our bigger horses. Cowboy is always up for some nice relaxing trail-rides and also loves his treats. Cowboy loves water especially splashing in his water trough when it’s he’s out in his pasture. Cowboy is a very trustworthy lesson horse and knows that slow and steady is the way to go. We love Cowboy!

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Dakota! Dakota is a very sweet horse who loves to teach kids how to ride. She also loves to be out in the pasture with her buddies and is always first to the gate to eat. She has a very in your pocket personality and loves to be loved on. We love Dakota❤️

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Symphony! Symphony is a lesson horse and a perfect babysitter. She has taught many of our young, and some of our older riders, how to canter. She is kind of a lone wolf and enjoys time to herself and doesn’t mind her nap time in her stall. Symphony loves to be brushed but does like her personal space especially from the geldings. Symphony is very loved at Blue Wave Stable.

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Copper! Copper is one of our lesson and trail horses and does a great job of carrying our kids around. He has a lot of fun doing his job (sometimes a little bit too much fun) and enjoys going on trails. We got Copper from a bad situation but he has improved so much and it’s great to see how he has grown. Copper is loved at Blue Wave Stable.

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Utah! Just in time for Mother’s Day, Utah is mom to three of our other mares, Phoenix, Tahoe, and Reno. Utah spends most of her time in the pasture with her babies and has fun eating hay all day. Phoenix is the oldest of her babies while Tahoe and Reno came next and we’re actually twins. We were so lucky to have this happen at our farm with a healthy mama and two healthy babies who are all grown up now.

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Pax! Pax is another one of our amazing lesson ponies. He has a lot of personality and definitely enjoys his naps. Whether he’s out in the pasture or in his stall he will fit a nap in wherever he can. He can get grumpy sometimes but he challenges our lesson kids and teaches them a lot. Pax will never refuse a treat and will always try to eat grass on his way out of the barn. Pax is very loved at Blue Wave Stable.

As there was a tie last week, this weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Blade! Blade is a very sweet horse, he loves to lick people and enjoys being brushed by the kids. Blade also likes grazing out in the pasture with his friends. He is an amazing lesson horse and has taught many kids how to ride. Blade is a lesson favorite and loved by many.

This weeks horse of the week is Bear! Bear has been at Blue Wave Stable for about 5 years. Bear enjoys lots of snacks and grazing. He is best friends with Doc and enjoys going on Saturday trail rides! He has a very fun personality and loves to lick people and give kisses.

Munchkin is a favorite of the barn if not THE favorite!!! He is loved by everyone of all ages and loves to surprise people when they find out he’s not actually a baby horse. He also loves showing off his tricks. We all love munchkin and he is very well behaved(for a mini)😆

This weeks Blue Wave Stable horse of the week is Doc! Doc is one of our amazing lesson and trail horses. Doc is our biggest horse. He is a Percheron gelding standing at around 19 hands high. Despite his size he is very sweet and loves attention. He also loves treats!

This weeks horse of the week is Cash! We are a little late on this post but here it is! Cash is one of our sweet boarder horses. He loves hanging out with his friends in the pasture and definitely loves to roll in the mud. Cash also loves being brushed and enjoys being loved on. Cash used to be a lesson horse but for medical reasons he now enjoys his day eating grass out in the field.

This weeks BWS horse of the week is Flynn! Flynn is very sweet and loves treats! He is a goofball and loves attention. He’s a speedy boy when it comes to riding but loves to canter and go over poles as well as play with his friends in the pasture. Flynn is a favorite of many of our Blue Wave riders and everyone loves him.

Introducing Blue Wave Stable’s horse of the week! Nyk is our resident babysitter and everyone’s favorite old man. He deserves the world and has quite the personality. He loves to get brushed and eat grass. Don’t let his age fool you, he wins every relay race and loves to show off. We can’t imagine Blue Wave without him and love him so much!

To all Blue Wave Stable lesson students…due to weather this week all lessons will be canceled. Trail rides will be offered as a make up. Students will need to text Erin at 7048473424 the Saturday they want to trailride and she will schedule it based on availability. Trailrides are at 11:30am 1pm and 2:30 pm on Saturdays. Students will have until April 1st to get their make up trailrides in. That way we will have plenty of time to do a make up for everyone. Thank you!
