Today way a balmy 107 degrees with high humidity. This afternoon, there were dark black thunder Clouds all around us and the wind kicked in with 30 mph gusts!! It cooled off slightly but the winds got the burros wound up😂😂😂 thankfully, the temps dropped but not a drop of rain fell on us. This week we are supposed to climb back up to 110 temps..summer just keeps on coming and our monsoon season has been non existent this year😢

This is how close we are to the fire, which was a vehicle fire..no structures and the wind didn’t spread it🌺❤️🙏🏼😘🌺❤️ Thank you Paula and Rod & Bev for running over to ensure the babies were safe❤️❤️❤️ Also, a huge thank you to my wonderful equine community for being on standby should we have needed to evacuate burros. I was 2 hours away with my mother and completely helpless driving on the highway❤️❤️🌺🌺

Update: the fire is out and the burros are safe!! Thank you to everyone that reached out to me. I’m still about 30 miles from home and will feel much better after I get my eyes on my babies❤️❤️🌺
