Savage Hills Rabbitry and Caviary is located in Fort Morgan Colorado. We specialize in Holland lop and Mini Lop rabbits Abyssinian, teddy and American cavies.

The kids took Best in show show C with savage hills cookies and cream. Brooklyns new found friend Alice took a best in show with her mini lop today too so the girls got a picture together. Hopefully a lifetime friendship made right there!

Had a good day in Brighton Colorado in show A mini lops open we had BOSV solid with savage hills I can buy myself flowers solid sr doe and BOV broken with sugars victory lap broken sr buck. We had many other class wins Victory lap went on to win breed

The kids had BOB in show A with savage hills Patrick star and BOSB with savage hills cookies and cream

Show B youth the kids took breed with savage hills Sebastian and BOSB with savage hills cookies and cream

The cavies did well in show A savage hills Rico brindle intermediate boar was reserve in show

Show B Erik’s TSW intermediate sow savage hills pecan took best in show and savage hills Romeo roan intermediate boar was reserve.

We also took reserve in the lop specialty with miller/potters shortstack solid English lop buck

We have great news here at savage hills we recently had my husbands kids join us full time and they are excited to join in this crazy rabbit journey this little doe was one in the litters over the summer when they were last here so we have decided she is there’s so gotta love their passion and joy for this little doe already!

Savage hills animals had a pretty good day in calhan Colorado yesterday

Savage hills fat Albert broken jr buck took 2 BOSB yesterday

And congrats to Linda miller and Erin Roy with there savage hills girl Coco solid senior doe that won the mini lop specialty yesterday

Then Erik took reserve in show in the cavy show A with a broken American sow from Maddie Pratt

We also had a few variety wins with some of our other kids

Another happy moment for one of the savage hills babies that left during convention. Ashley bought this broken little doe Savage hills cash out during our fall convention pre sales. Ashley received best of breed with her today in Iowa out of a whopping 159 minis!!! Congrats Ashley hope this little girl continues to do wonderful for you and your program! Thank you again for believing in savage hills genetics!

Well the weeks coming to a close and we did pretty dang good all but three animals were top 25 7 in the top 10! Best of the day was 2nd place broken senior doe in a class of over 80 the doe that was first went on to win breed.

Hey all for those of you picking up rabbits along our route to convention. We will leave Colorado around 3/3:30pm on Wednesday October 4th and be staying in Kansas City Missouri that night and leaving early October5th to head on. I don’t have exact location of hotel that we will be staying at will update you guys as we have that. But animal will need to be picked up that night likely late or early the next am. To all buyers final deposit on animals is due before we leave on Wednesday unless we have made other arrangements. Thank you all again if any questions please pm.

Savage hills caviary had a good day in Brighton Colorado. Savage hills Rooster roan Abyssinian SR boar does it again! First with a best in show show A under Jordan Miner and second with a reserve in show show B under Kathi Groves. Got some good comments on his little brother too!

The rabbits we left the convention kids and home to hold those coats and condition but pulled out some baby babies with good comments and pulled off some variety wins and a breed win with some older does!

So proud of savage hills kids no matter where they are! Erin’s mom Linda bought this little doe out of our last sales group and had gone on to do great thing with this junior. Happy that I can share genetics in this breed and get animals into peoples barns that do good for them. Thank you Erin and your mom for trusting in our babies!

As we are approaching on convention sales list of rabbits will be out last week of August first week of September this will give new owners sometime to comply with our sales policy. Which is as follows :

Animals from sales list will be first come first serve. First person to put a 50% non refundable deposit down will be the new owner. Other half of payment will be due by the day I leave my house for convention October 4th. If not paid in full animal will not be loaded.

For transport to convention they will either need to be entered in new owners name prior (September 11th is entry deadline, I will provide ear numbers) so they have a place in the showroom and you can easily pick up at the end or your transport can. If not entered they will need to be picked up Thursday by new owner to be kept offsite. This is mandatory unless other arrangements have been made between us before hand. If you will not be attending and animals will be picked up by your transport at the end I will personally care for those animals during the duration of the convention.

Thank you again for trusting in our genetics and we hope to provide each of you with an animal that will fit you and your herds needs!
