The Story of Training a Maine C**n to Love Water:

Maine C**ns are known to be one of the few cat breeds that have a fascination with water, but contrary to popular belief, not all of them are born with this trait. While many Maine C**ns enjoy playing in water or dipping their paws in it, others need a little help to get comfortable with the idea. This makes it important to gradually train them to enjoy water, especially if you plan to bathe them or take them near large water sources.

Here’s how you can train your Maine C**n to love water:

1. Start Early: If you get your Maine C**n as a kitten, introduce them to water as soon as possible. Gentle and positive experiences with water from an early age will help them feel safe and comfortable around it.
2. Small Steps: Begin by letting your cat play with shallow water in a bowl or even in the sink. You can splash gently or place toys that float on the surface to pique their interest. Make sure to reward your cat with treats and positive reinforcement.
3. Use Lukewarm Water: When moving on to baths, always use lukewarm water. Cold or hot water can be uncomfortable and may scare them off from water completely.
4. Positive Reinforcement: Each time your cat successfully engages with water, give them a treat and praise them. This will help associate water with positive experiences. Patience is key!
5. Make Bath Time Playtime: Some Maine C**ns will love to chase a floating toy or splash at bubbles. Turn bath time into a game rather than a chore. This way, the experience becomes enjoyable for both of you!

While Maine C**ns are more likely to be water-friendly than many other breeds, this doesn’t mean that every Maine C**n will dive into water joyfully from the get-go. With patience, training, and fun activities, you can help your Maine C**n enjoy and even love water over time.

Dear Valued Clients,

I want to take a moment to address some important points about my cattery and express my gratitude for your continued support.

As many of you know, Maine C**ns are very expensive to maintain. I ensure that all my babies receive comprehensive medical care at home and visit the vet at 8 weeks old. Recently, I had a smaller kitten that wasn't quite ready for sale, but someone showed interest and shared a heartfelt story. Moved by this, I took the kitten to the vet and, thinking it was a boy, sold it at a significantly reduced price. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a girl—a genuine mistake on my part, but a rare deal that no other breeder would offer.

This person later claimed the kitten had parasites and demanded a refund. He even asked if he could get a refund to pay half for a male cat he saw for $1800, despite my offer to keep the girl and provide a male kitten. He continued to text me with threats, which has led to this message.

For the safety and well-being of my family and myself, I have implemented security measures to prevent harassment. From now on, please understand that all communication regarding complaints must be sent via email. My phone is no longer open for calls or texts related to the cattery.

I want to assure you all that if my cattery ever makes an unintentional mistake, you will not be left without support. However, some people take advantage of my kindness and the fact that I am a woman. Moving forward, I will adopt a strictly business approach. I will no longer offer deals or extras.

Thank you to those who have supported me and continue to adore my Maine C**n babies. Your understanding and kindness mean the world to me.

With heartfelt appreciation,
Zoe Skyy

In a world where mental health is a big concern, it's crucial to focus on what lifts your spirits. Do things that bring you joy, set boundaries, and cherish yourself. As someone studying psychology, self-care is key. Teaching brings me happiness, and so do my kittens when they find loving homes and make others smile. 🌟🐾
