MICROCHIPPING YOUR PETS is IMPORTANT
More than just surgery, microchipping is a vow to protect your cherished pet and ensure they are always at your side. This is why Indian Creek Pet Hospital's microchipping service is your pet’s key to a safer and more secure life is explained here:

Permanent Identification: Unlike collars and tags that can be lost or damaged, a microchip is a tiny, permanent ID inserted just under your pet’s skin. It contains a unique code linked to your contact information, making it a reliable way to identify your pet if it ever gets lost.

Rapid Reunions: Every pet parent’s worst fear is losing their furry friend. Our microchipping service gives lost pets a higher chance of being reunited with their families. Shelters and veterinary clinics across Fort Myers and beyond can scan for microchips, allowing for quick identification and contact with you.
Peace of Mind: Microchipping provides peace of mind beyond mere identification. It means your pet has extra protection, no matter the circumstances. It’s a promise to always be there for your pet, even when you can’t be.

Painless and Quick: The microchipping procedure is quick and virtually painless for your pet. It’s a small investment for a lifetime of security.

Our Commitment to Your Pet’s Well-Being
We at Indian Creek Pet Hospital are concerned about the health of your animal family member. Our knowledgeable staff is aware of the emotional bond that exists between pet parents and their animals. We don’t just offer a service; we also ensure your pet is safe.

Our microchipping service in Fort Myers is:
Accurate: We use the latest technology to ensure the microchip is inserted correctly and functions as intended.

Safe: Your pet’s comfort and safety are our top priorities. The procedure is quick, minimally invasive, and causes minimal discomfort.

Comprehensive: We provide all the necessary information and resources to keep your contact details up-to-date, ensuring the microchip is always effective.

⚠ WARNING ⚠
Did you know in the state of Florida it is unlawful to leave your pet in your car unattended? Leaving pets inside a parked car (ignition on or off) is considered animal cruelty per Florida law. This is because it is dangerous to your pet in many ways, but especially due to heat. As we know, Florida has very hot weather and when it is hot outside, it is even hotter inside your car. So much so, that your pet's body temperature will heat up very quickly and this can be fatal. Never leave pets unattended inside a parked car, even if the window is cracked open. We invite you to share this post to all of your friends and family, it could save a pet's life 🐾

⚠️‼️ BOFU TOADS (aka Cane Toads) are VERY Dangerous to our Pets ⚠️‼️
If you have lived in Florida for a long time you may be well aware of these invasive creatures. If you are new to Florida and do not know about Bofu (or Cane) Toads, PLEASE arm yourself with knowledge on these potentially deadly toads. This species of toad are invasive and non-native of Florida, but more importantly, they are poisonous to our pets. They are more active in the summer months at night when it is warm and wet, however, they seem to be around into the Fall as well. Please read the information in the link provided so you are aware of how to handle these toads should you or your pet see them in your yard.

If your pet gets a hold of a Bofu Toad, contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. If your Veterinarian is closed for the day, contact the closest veterinary emergency hospital.
