🐾 PATIENT SPOTLIGHT 🐾
Hello, my name is Bakugo and I am a 9 month old Maine C**n Kitten 🐱 Oh, and I am kind of a big thing at Companion Pet Care 🥰 The folks there tell me I am the most beautiful Maine C**n kitty EVER! They all want to hold me and give me lots of hugs and scritches. I let them because I love all the attention 😁 When I came in this week for my appointment, they told me how proud they were of me because I now weigh 14lbs! That's more than double from my very first kitten visit when I was much smaller at 6lbs. That's me in the picture with Ms. Ally, the Hospital Administrator (she didn't want to let me go 😍)! Everyone at Companion Pet Care was so nice to me, I can't wait to go back for my next appointment to get more hugs and scritches!!

🎆 July 4th PET SAFETY Reminder 🎆
Independence Day is one of those holidays where we need to take our pet's safety into consideration. They do not always enjoy the same festivities that we do, so let's keep them safe so ALL can enjoy the holiday. Fireworks is a big concern for many dogs and cats since many are terrified of the sound. A few tips on how to prepare and keep your pets safe during the 4th of July activities:

🐾 Be sure they have updated ID tags on them and/or are microchipped
🐾 Keep them secure and safe inside your home away from fireworks
🐾 Play soothing music or give them something that keeps them calm
🐾 Keep any alcoholic beverages out of their reach

This post promises to make you smile and say "I want a Doodle!" 🥰 Meet one of our new patients at Companion Pet Care, Poppy. She is a 16 week old doodle who is as sweet as they come! She was such a brave little girl when she got her vaccines and nail trim. Everyone fell in love with her, especially Corelys (Receptionist) who is pictured with her. 😍

Did you know in the state of Florida it is unlawful to leave your pet in your car unattended? Leaving pets inside a parked car (ignition on or off) is considered animal cruelty per Florida law. This is because it is dangerous to your pet in many ways, but especially due to heat. As we know, Florida has very hot weather and when it is hot outside, it is even hotter inside your car. So much so, that your pet's body temperature will heat up very quickly and this can be fatal. Never leave pets unattended inside a parked car, even if the window is cracked open. We invite you to share this post to all of your friends and family, it could save a pet's life 🐾
