Very important! Ask doc how to keep your pet safe!

It is the time of the year again! UGGGGH! 😫 and I wanted to reach out and share some tips on how to help keep your dog safe and comfortable during fireworks as we near July 1 and 4th 🐾🎆

1️⃣ Close windows and curtains
2️⃣ Keep your dog inside
3️⃣ Play soothing music
4️⃣ Offer your pooch a raw bone or an enrichment toy filled with their favourite food
5️⃣ Give the naturally calming homeopathic remedy Aconite 1M, 200C or 30C (give three pellets, three hours apart). You can find this remedy in a local homeopathic pharmacy and give it throughout the day before the fireworks start. You can also give Bach Flower Rescue Remedy (10 drops).

Even short periods of exposure can lead to heatstroke, dehydration, or worse. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them. Keep your pets safe—bring them indoors, provide plenty of water, and limit outdoor time.
