Update on Bear:
"I adopted a dog on February 18, 2017 and his name is BEAR. I wanted to update everyone there and to send some pictures and a short video of BEAR. I went to Florida to visit my in-laws while my son was on school break not expecting to leave with a dog. I can’t thank you enough as BEAR is a wonderful addition to our family. In the video he seems to be enjoying the snow. I lost my dog back in December, the day after Christmas and we were devastated. We wanted to go see my in-laws before we brought a new puppy/dog into our household. BEAR is not the kind of dog nor is he a puppy, but we cannot imagine our lives without him. He has brought so much love and life to our family where just a couple months prior we had been dealing with the loss of our chocolate lab Buddy. The Staff and the veterinarian was outstanding and just so great to deal with in getting Bear the care he received while there. Again, a huge thank you to the staff as well as the veterinarians that provide the love and care each and every one of the animals at the shelter deserve."
Here is a video of Scooby enjoying his outing the other day! We love when volunteers take our dogs out to explore new places. :)
Lady decided the puppy toy isnt just for puppies and borrowed their stuffed animal to play with.
Houdini "climbing the mountain" in her foster home with Theresa! :)
Willow's Day Out :)
Willow had a little day trip to the park today! We were told that she behaved wonderfully in the car and had a great time out and about. Remember volunteers can always take our dogs out for little day trips or sleepovers, just meet with Alyssa to get all set up. :)
Update on Granny in foster with Sheryl and Stormy.
"Granny got a new toy for Christmas and this is the first time I've seen her play!!! I'm so excited!!"
"Here is Granny going from the lanai to the house. We made a ramp at first, but she ignores it to do this! Doing well!"
Kaiser politely asking for some attention in his foster home.
