Since 2001 Summerlin Animal Hospital has been caring for the "best friends" of Ft. Myers residents and vacationers. Our loving staff, outstanding medicine, and progressively equipped practice makes your veterinary visit as easy and as comfortable as possible for both you and your pet. Our primary focus is your pet's health; we provide routine wellness care as well comprehensive sick care. In-house

blood work and laboratory testing, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound technology and surgical services are all available in our hospital. Our practice does not offer grooming or boarding services. We hope you find our home on the web easy to navigate and find what you are looking for quickly. ATTENTION VALUED CLIENTS-MEDICATION REFILL TURNAROUND TIMES:

Season has begun here in Southwest Florida, and our schedule is quickly filling up. We are working diligently to see as many pets as possible without compromising the quality of care. We kindly ask for your patience, kindness, and understanding as our team navigates this busy time.

To ensure your pet's medication needs are met, please submit refill requests with at least 5 days’ worth of medication remaining.

Here are the expected timelines for refills:

In-house medication refills: Up to 72 hours to process.
Third-party pharmacy refills: Up to 4-5 days to prepare and fax.

For faster service, we encourage you to consider our online pharmacy, Vetcove, which often provides quicker turnaround times compared to third-party options. Let us know if you’d like to use Vetcove when making your request.

We sincerely appreciate your support and patience as we work to accommodate all requests while providing the highest quality care for your pets.
