Huge shout out to the volunteers that participated from giving baths (Melissa) To working the table/ walking the dogs- Again It was such a beautiful venue
Huge shout out also to our Kennel Manager Summer who busted her butt to determine and organize the dogs that would comfortable and enjoy such a venue. And to the Staff thank you as well for volunteering your time to come on down /walk some dogs and enjoy some of that day. Kudos to the staff that hung back behind to handle the shelter

Her name is Sweet Pea for a reason. She's just a little ol' sweetie! This lovely lady came in as a stray in June of 2021, meaning she has been with us for over a year! We simply can't believe it with just how affectionate she is. We need to find her a home ASAP so she can pour her love into her new family! She absolutely loves everyone and is super affectionate with strangers, too. Sweet Pea can get overstimulated when getting attention and playing, and when you come to meet her in the shelter she'll need a few minutes to calm down from the excitement of meeting new people. She just loves all the attention! She's very playful but plays nice, even though she is energetic. Sweet Pea loves hanging out in the yard with her people and relaxing in the shade after a spirited game with toys. She weighs on the smaller side at just 42lbs and we estimate that she is around 4 years old. Sweet Pea would prefer to be your one and only or she might get jealous!
