Sadly their mama can no longer care for herself and was forced to rehome her babies

So it was a heart breaking goodbye but a tiny piece of my heart was filled today

My friends and i have been steadily checking the shelters for me a dog.

The only way my heart will heal is to adopt another and know my boy left to save another

Most i find are already adopted, which makes my heart happy to see so many people helping to empty the shelters!

But if you see a chihuahua or chihuahua mix please reach out to me!

Most rescues are more than i can spend and the process is very strict so preferably from animal control, shelters, humane society, and such, distance is not a huge issue as i will travel

I have been really checking the kill shelters as most don’t give them long to find a home

We all have our “one”

Dixon was mine

I am still completely lost without him, and everyday i wonder if this hole in my heart will start to feel less empty and when I’ll be able to make it through the day without crying

I devoted everything to him these last few years, as he was diabetic and had Cushings so he required alot of medical care. I wouldn’t leave him for more than a few hours, and if he couldn’t join me traveling i wouldn’t go.

So now he’s gone and it’s like my purpose was ripped from me

I miss him so much 💔

I had some of Dixon’s hair shaved so i could put it in an ornament since Christmas will now forever be the day i lost my best friend 💔

I have almost a whole bottle of Petsulin, half a box of pet insulin syringes, and almost a whole bottle of this natural medicine i bought for his Cushing, if anyone needs or knows of someone who does please let me know as i need them gone
