Calling all Rottie lovers! Rambo is an approximately 9 year old Rottweiler that was found as a stray and is at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast awaiting a wonderful home to live out his golden years. He is a very polite boy, seems to have very little prey drive and knows all of his commands. If you think you’d be the perfect home for this sweet gentleman, contact the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Let’s help get another one out of the shelter and into a forever home!

Theodore, Alvin and Simon (well…Essay, Maisie and Skye) are very excited to announce that Draxen Farms will once again be offering the AKC Farm Dog Test at this year’s Treasure Coast Pirate Cluster at the St. Lucie Fairgrounds October 11th and 12th. Two passing tests under two different judges = a fancy new title for you and your dog! And luckily for you, we have two judges and are running both each day. Be sure to fill out the premium that’s attached below and check out what else the Cluster has to offer this year. The three little chipmunks (I mean Farm Princesses) will see you at the fairgrounds!

Dip here reminding everyone that this Saturday, August 16th, we are having our AKC Pre-Trial and AHBA Junior Herding Dog readiness evaluations. All breeds, including mixed breeds, are eligible to compete in AHBA trials. At this event you’ll be able to see how a PT/JHD is run in real time, learn the necessary skills to pass with your dog and have your dog evaluated so that a personalized training plan can be put into place. This fun event will start at 9:00-noon-ish and costs $30. Make sure to bring water (for you and your dogs) and a crate if you have one to keep your furry friend calm and comfortable while others are working.
