We provide horse approved, “REAL TIME” instruction for pleasure, ranching, performance and show. We start with groundwork for understanding, control and partnerships and move to riding with skill and safety while building a firm foundation that provides riders the ability to excel in the areas that fit them. Riding instruction begins with basic body positions for balance and skill building for safety, control and fun! Instruction is in diverse settings to prepare for the various situations that are encountered in riding. We encourage each horse and rider to learn at their own pace, with safety and communication as the forefront of all teaching! Instruction horses, tack and insurance provided.

Instruction: - Under 12- $55/hr 12+ $75/hr.
Workshops/Group- $65/hr/adult
Board- $250/mo

General Liability Insurance provided and signed Waiver required

Morning thoughts: I was schooling two students yesterday at a show clinic, making sure they were safe in a pen full of riders and teaching them correct protocol and situational awareness. I was also protecting them, as several in the arena were seemingly just riding, only thinking of themselves and what they wanted in the moment and little concern for anyone around them. They either didn't know how to manage the situation, or they just didn't care. This situation reminded me greatly of the world we live in; the selfishness, self involvement, ignorance and lack of concern for others. This is how the world is functioning and we need to be ever diligent to protect our children from the negative influences that are pounding their precious hearts and minds daily, teach them God's Word and His standards and live it ourselves as their example :) To those who were helpful, caring and aware, THANK YOU!

Open for business, bigger and better than ever! Our arena project is complete! We took out the railroad ties and rails we built in 1994 and Jeff and Bailey Jo Clark replaced with drill stem and continuous panels- Jeff duck footed 8" and disked, we then had it picked, groomed and leveled by M Bar Diamond Performance Footing, Mickey Miller! HIGHLY RECOMMEND his work, skills and experience and he travels far and wide to provide what he does!!!

As we move into the new day, we sometimes find ourselves at a loss without those we love, that includes horses. Sugar and Freckles were two of our wonderful horses and were laid to rest yesterday, both, who served so very well in the lives, with all who had the privilege of knowing them :) Although their bodies gave way to age, their hearts were and will always be with us!

Thinking about focus today: What we focus on not only influences us, it often consumes us. If your focus results in positive outcomes, great! If it bears negative results, get it gone before it controls and destroys you!

Attention: to those who advertise your older horses for beaucoup bucks- no maintenance needed, etc. I seek after these wonderful old horses for my lesson program and I don't expect to get them for cheap or nothing, but at an average of $300/month for feed, supplements, farrier, then add vet care, X-rays, joint injections etc., consider that in your pricing. I am the one taking care of their needs, often in desperate condition, because you couldn't or just didn't. At $50/ lesson, often only 3/week, light use due to their physical condition, do math on that. I'm fortunate to break even while providing a good retirement for them and bringing up riders into their futures. These horses are on their way out and I am the one who cares for them and eventually has to put them down, so think about that when you're advertising your skinny, broken down horse that you used and love and don't need anymore and you price them based on where they were, not where that are ☺️
