Meet Juno! Juno has been patiently waiting for his forever family as one of the longest-tenured dogs at the shelter—and it’s time for this sweet boy to find the love he so deserves! He is full of personality and is as goofy as can be, guaranteed to fill your home with laughter!

🐾 Juno is a 2-year-old, 55lbs German Shepherd/Doberman mix with a heart as big as his paws.

🏠 Potty trained and ready to move into a home where he can truly thrive.

🐕 A social butterfly with other dogs—Juno loves running, playing, and making furry friends. He does best in a home with another dog to keep him company.

☕ Obsessed with Puppuccinos—he’ll never say no to a little treat!

Long Termer Spotlight: Cassandra 💛

Presenting….. the one…… the only…… Cassandra!!

For day 2 of showing off our lovely long-term residents, we had to show off this gorgeous gal! Cassandra is 61 pounds of straight personality. Even though she’s a 4-year-old kiddo, she has the heart of a puppy!

This happy- go- lucky girl loves people and is the life of the party! She has an absolute blast playing with her toys and going for walks.

She is looking to be the pampered princess, jogging partner, and best friend to a special family. She is the definition of a social butterfly and puppy all put into one.

She would prefer a family where she can be the only fur kid but lots of people to love on! She doesn’t quite understand the concept of being a big gal and would do best with older children and adults! She would love an active home filled with adventures, long naps, and lots of toys.

Cassandra has been living shelter life for over a year and is so ready for her next chapter!

🐾 Wishlist Wednesday 🦴

To start off our daily long term resident spotlight -We want everyone to meet Cleveland, weighing in at 68 pounds and aged at 3 and a half years old ❤️…

Cleveland is a strong guy that has overcome so much! He came to us as part of a cruelty case. He came in with 17 other dogs, 6 big dogs and 10 chihuahuas. They all lived in a backyard together and were forced to fend for themselves. He came to us heartworm positive ❤️➕ but has completed his treatment and is now a survivor! ❤️💪

Cleveland never strayed away from his love and trust towards people. He fully believes he is a lap dog and would love to be your forever cuddle buddy! He can look like he has a tough exterior but he is all mush on the inside, this guy is made up of all love! He is goofy, playful and is so much fun to be around.

He has done wonderful with other dogs! He is an all star during our walking groups, he will walk with big dogs and small dogs and anyone willing to take him out. Cleveland is loved by all including some of our most cherished volunteers. We have never received a complaint about this big tough guy.

Cleveland, the last of his clan is ready to find his forever home! He has worked with our awesome partner/trainer Dre -The Doggie Professor and she can vouch for this smart and loyal guy! She would love to continue working with him and ensuring he will be the best boy he can be in his new home!

Come by the shelter to meet Cleveland and further discuss what he will need to succeed in a home! 🐾❤️

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to the staff and students at Bonnevile Elementary for hosting a donation drive for our shelter babies!

Together they donated over 800 items! We are so grateful for all of you!

We were so grateful to start off the New Year with Fred -our previous longest term resident being adopted!🎉 Fred had spent 673 days at the shelter before finding his forever home, where he now has a furry sibling and a beautiful family to spend his days playing and relaxing with!

Almost a month later we had another long term resident be adopted, Barbosa!🥹 Barbosa had spent 445 days at the shelter until we found the perfect couple for him to go home with, he made his way into their hearts quickly and now they couldn't imagine life any other way!

Adopting a long term resident may require a little more patience, effort, and love to help them transition from what they know at the shelter. ❤️

We will be posting our top 5 longest term residents daily to help share their stories! Stay tuned!! 👀😍

Well hello!!

My name is Hank and I’m ready to find my very own person!

I’m a super playful guy, who is a little nervous with new people. But once I know I can trust them, I am fun loving, happy boy. I haven’t been able to learn how to “dog” much and would love a family that can teach me what it means to be loved, safe, and a part of a family!

I have loved playing with other shelter dogs and have done well with teen volunteers.
