Planning a road trip with your furry friend? Whether it’s a short ride or a long adventure, here’s how to ensure your pet stays safe and comfortable:

1️⃣ Start with short trips: If your pet isn't used to car rides, begin with short journeys to fun spots like dog-friendly parks. This helps them get comfortable with the car.

2️⃣ Car sickness? Talk to your vet for advice or medication options to keep your pet calm and comfortable during the ride.

3️⃣ Make stops regularly: Every 2-3 hours, take breaks for bathroom breaks and a little exercise.

4️⃣ Keep your pet secure: Always restrain your pet to avoid injury. Small pets should travel in crates, and larger pets should use harnesses attached to the seatbelt. No pets in the truck bed, and NEVER let them ride on your lap!

5️⃣ Comfort matters: Bring along a familiar blanket or a safe toy to help your pet relax.
