Update on the four scared kittens โค๏ธ they are decompressing and settling in. We are so thankful to our supporters and foster who are helping these 4 along their way to finding forever homes.

This week on top of helping sterilize 107 cats/kittens. Blooper also placed 20 cats and 1 dog into rescue partners. Unfortunately Willow tested FIV+ at 18 months old although his 9 siblings did not. Many donโt know but FIV can make a cat almost unplaceable. Our founder has a special bond with FIV cats that most probably wouldnโt understand. Willow was the only cat that wasnโt accepted into placement ๐ญ not wanting him to feel left behind and abandoned we started asking partners for help. His intake photo didnโt do him justice so it looked like the only option was an FIV sanctuary. However, he wasnโt feral and deserves to be loved and in a home regardless of his status โค๏ธ After dropping him off for the sanctuary we received a call from a partner of ours letting us know Willow could come to their adoption facility. ๐ญ We immediately turned our van around and went back for him. It truly made our day to know this sweet boy who not only faced adversity because of his fiv status but also because of his photos initial impression found a path to a loving home โค๏ธ
Sid The Sloth
We checked in on our boy Sid today to see how things were hanging ๐ ๐ฆฅ Heโs loving his new home and the snacks.
Itโs transport day! 24 canine๏ฟผ and 8 feline friends are headed north to New York, Massachusetts, and Maine! ๐๐พ๐ป Viper and his siblings came into the shelter very unhappy clearly not socialized. Blooper pulled him and his littermates, soon he will realize we arenโt so scary.

Today Blooper found out that Toro passed away due to an acute fatal arrhythmia. We had the pleasure of having him on the bus for two days, boy was he a lover! Please consider supporting Quincy's Hope Canine Coalition & Education! They were able to offer Toro a calm and loving home during his final days here! Itโs days like these that make what we do hard!
