🐾 Lost or Found a Pet? Here's What You Can Do! 🐾

While we may not be able to accept every lost or found pet into the shelter, we are here to help in other ways. If you’ve found a pet or lost your own, here are some quick steps to help get them home:

✅ Check the neighborhood – Most lost pets are found within just 1/4 mile of their home. Walk the area and ask around.

📱 Post on social media – Use platforms like Facebook, Nextdoor, and Ring Neighbors. Many communities have active Lost & Found Pet groups.

📌 Put up flyers – A simple photo and contact number posted around the area can go a long way.

🔍 Microchip scanning – Bring the found by any vet or to PAWS to be scanned for a chip! We can scan for a microchip and help track down the owner if it’s registered.

🙌 Do your part as a community member – Please make every effort to help reunite lost pets with their families. The shelter is overwhelmed and simply cannot house every single animal that’s found.

: Help Us Tackle Toothaches! 🦷💥

Imagine living every day with a broken tooth, infected gums, or constant pain—and not being able to tell anyone.

That’s the heartbreaking reality for many of the animals that come through our doors. Dental disease is one of the most common and painful conditions we treat—and without the right equipment, we can’t give them the relief they desperately need.

This Wishlist Wednesday, we’re raising $3,800 for a Dental Cleaning Unit to help us bring healing and comfort to these animals. Thanks to the incredible support from previous donors, we’ve already raised $430—leaving $3,370 to go.
