Training Tip Tuesday! 🐾 Does your dog playfully avoiding coming inside? Try teaching a simple hand target! ✋

With a well-reinforced hand target, you can get your dog running to you to touch their nose to the palm of your hand! Curious about how to teach it?

🐾 Start by feeding your pup a few tasty treats in a row.
🐾 Then, harness their anticipation for more treats!
🐾 Take a step away from your dog as you lower your hand and show them your palm.
🐾 When they come forward to check your palm for another treat, say “Yes!”.
🐾 Immediately give them a treat from your other hand!
🚫 Don’t push your hand into their nose or face—let your dog close the distance!
