Hi Everyone,
We've been asked to post these two sweet girls, by a client, who need new homes.
These two sweet girls are Callie and Chloe. They are 8-year-old sisters. Unfortunately, their owner had a stroke back in November, and they have been living in their house alone since then. They have had someone visiting them daily and they have been very resilient. The owner will not be able to care for them in the future and the family is looking for a new home for them. Both girls are initially shy, but warm up quickly. They love attention and like to be pet. Chloe is more active and loves to run around and play. Callie is more calm and is the type who will sit with you and watch TV. Although they are sisters, they are NOT bonded and can be adopted separately. They need to go to a quiet home without dogs or small children.
They can live with other cats.

"Pops is an affectionate and loving 9 year-old pit bull mix. As far as he knows, he’s a 65 pound lapdog! Due to health problems his owner is sadly unable to continue to care for him, and we are looking for a home for Pops. He is crate trained and knows basic commands, and loves being around people! He has no history of aggression to humans, but it would be best if he went to a home where he was the only dog. If you are interested, kindly reach out about this sweet boy"

We'll post some wonderful event photos on Tuesday - and if you couldn't make it, Olaf will be back next December for more pictures!

It was a great event - Thank you for the donations. We will be at the next event in May collecting the same items.

Dr. Janet & Lisa volunteered at ACCT today - one of the TNR clinics. TNR is the most effective & humane way of reducing the feral/stray cat population in a community....Here, cats get spayed/neutered, flea & tick prevention, a Rabies & FVRCP vaccine, ears cleaned & tipped (that indicates to trappers that that animal has been fixed). The cats teeth are examined & general health assessment made. The cats are returned to their appropriate colony once they have recovered enough from surgery...This year, ACCT has TNR'd approx. 1,200 cats. Sorry - the video cut out at the end, but hopefully you have a little better of an idea what a TNR clinic is like.. chaotic, busy, smelly, messy and all for a worthwhile cause!
