Looks like its time to re-introduce myself!
My name is Corinne Cornett, and I have been the very proud owner of my own local grooming salon for the past three years. When I'm not grooming, Im usually outside gardening, camping, boating at the lakes, rescuing wild animals, enjoying meals with family, riding bikes, grilling bbq, cruising on the motorcycle, canoeing Cedar Creek, or grabbing dinner downtown at The Deck- all of course with my long time love Justin Mihavics, and my sweet 6 year old lab/pit Nova, who loves to go absolutely everywhere with us.
My story starts in 2018, when I started working at a nearby dog boarding and grooming shop, Augies.
I quickly realized how much I love taking care of animals and building relationships with others who share that passion in their hearts as well.
Thankyou to Leslie Reynolds for teaching me all things grooming, and passing down your many many years of expertise.
Fast forward through 3 years of continuing to work as a mobile groomer for a franchise, working hard and building my skills. It was then that my path and vision became clear to me. I purchased my salon truck, renovated it, and officially opened my own business, Grooming by Corinne, in 2021 with just about 5 amazing clients.
And here we are today! 2024. THREE years of building the most wonderful dream business, with really.. THE BEST clients, and the BEST dogs. I am serving the Fort Wayne area, still taking new clients, and getting calls and texts daily for appointments! I am loving watching this business flourish, sharpening my grooming skills, building trust with healthy groomer-to-dog relationships and keeping my business centered on your pet, giving each dog or cat the individual attention, patience, respect, and kindness, that they always deserve.
Im officially releasing these very special pictures from my first ever branding photo shoot by Marissa Jane Photography! These pictures are so special to my heart and seeing them makes me so SO proud and excited for the future, and all that is to come. Marissa is amazing client and now friend that I feel so lucky to have met through my business.
Marissa did a absolutely amazing job with these! Im so glad her little Millie the King Charles Cavalier got to be in my pictures along with my Nova girl.
