Everything is starting to wake up now and I’m starting to feel it! We’re starting our spring prep and I’m really looking forward to this year! I’m planting some cool things and I can’t wait to show them! 🌱🌸🌱🌼🌱

Well, with the arrival of the colder temperatures, we decided that it is time to close the farm stand for the season. Thank you to everyone who stopped by for our first season! It was so exciting and we learned so much and I can’t wait to bring what we learned into next year!

Due to the thunderstorms that will be here early in the afternoon I won’t be opening today! I’m hoping tomorrow will be better, but it’s looking like the storms will continue.

That said, I haven’t closed for the season yet! I still have a lot of plants producing loads of veggies. However, once the first frost hits I will be closing for the season!

Until then we still have tomatoes, green peppers, a little bit of squash, eggplant, and loads of various hot peppers (cayenne, Thai, Anaheim, cubanelle, numex, jalapeño, Hungarian wax, and habanero)!

Things have been rough since Tehya died, but the garden isn’t stopping! Second harvest of the year and the first time I’m putting up a farm stand! I’m staying open from 10 am - 4 pm today and tomorrow! check us out!! Fernwood Gardens LLC

It has been slow going this season, but the summer squash and cucumbers are really taking off! And, the tomatoes aren’t far behind!! 🌱🍅🥒
