Hide and seek takes on a whole new meeting at the Forest when you were the same color as the leaves!!

We have 1 PM and 3 PM openings today (Monday). Come to the Forest and play with your dogs!

Do you guys remember Onyx? He was our most recent foster to find his forever family and here he is with his new sister Nelson! He is adjusting so well to his new home. ❤️

We have a new Cavalier foster that will be posted soon and he’s a handsome tricolor boy. Stay tuned if you might be interested in adopting!

We have a FEW 30 minute visits available through Nov 10th! They are at 6pm until Nov 2nd, then at 5pm through Nov 10th. So if 30 minutes is enough time to exercise your dog, grab a shorter visit for only $10! As usual, please be sure not to arrive early to the parking lot so that everyone gets their full visit time. Enjoy fall!

We are booking up FAST! It’s the most popular time of year to visit the forest and we get in a bit of a crunch since the days get shorter and we have to drop the number of bookings per day. We just have a few openings left for this week and weekend! But you can book out through the end of the year and reserve your favorite days and times! Don’t forget packages to save on every booking.

Did you guys hear that Humane FW made a trip out east to collect shelter pups that were affected by Hurricane Helene? This is one of those pups, enjoying the forest with his Humane FW volunteer! I don’t believe he’s up for adoption yet but keep your eye on their website if you are in the market for a new pooch to add to your household!

We’ve had several reports of kitties at the forest so we had to go see for ourselves! Sure enough, a few curious cats have been stopping by periodically to see what all the fuss is about at Fido’s Forest. Our neighbor says they are their barn cats, and that they don’t want them taken to the shelter. So we are in discussions with them to brainstorm some (gentle/kind!) solutions in the event that they visit a little too often! In the meantime, if these cuties decide to visit while you are at the forest please be kind to them! We will figure something out. At least it’s kind of a fun problem to have!
