We know… you see a cute dog that’s shaking their b***y, giving you those puppy dog eyes and is allll smiles. It’s like they’re begging you to pet them and give them loves, and sometimes, they are. 🐶

However, it’s important that we ALWAYS ask permission before petting a dog. This is for a multitude of reasons including but not limited to the dog being in training, a service animal, doesn’t like being pet by strangers etc. Regardless of the reason, it’s important we respect the animal, the owners and their space. It’s also important that we RESPECT THE DECISION and listen if we’re told no. 🐾

Today, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who came together to help us in our mission to give every animal the chance they deserve.

Meet Hades, a dog with a troubled past, a history of aggression that made his journey to a brighter future seem daunting. At CHS, we understand that we don't always have all the answers, but what truly matters is that we are always trying. And when we try together, miracles can happen.

We are immensely thankful to:

🐶 The K9 Concierge, for their unwavering support and guidance in working with Hades, providing him the intensive off-site training he needs

👏 Tony Cope and Josee Gorman, who assisted with transporting this morning

🐾 Lucci's Bully House Rescue, for being a beacon of hope and support, showing us that collaboration can make the impossible possible.

🙌 And of course, Kaylee Cope, for her tireless efforts in connecting the dots and ensuring that Hades' story would have a better ending.

Because of your collective efforts, Hades now has a chance at a brighter future, filled with love, understanding, and the possibility of a forever home. This is the true power of community, compassion, and dedication.
