I would like to thank all the volunteers that helped at the NEIKC Cluster Obedience and Rally Trials this weekend. We have such awesome club members and friends from Fort Wayne Obedience Training Club that put their hearts and muscles into setting up , trialing and then tearing down again. A special thanks to our stewards. Nancy Wright, Lynn Swager, Kathy Dullaghan, Kelly Urick, Bivian Oldsen, June Mintchell, Steve Wheeler , Lynn Swager, Sherry Stratton , Tim Schoenherr, Neal and Sheila Harkenrider and Kennedy. We had great judges too. The set up and clean up crews were incredible. Too many to list but I have a list for all your paws points I will be giving to Kelly Urick for you.

Just a reminder to all the club members who are entered in our UKC Nosework trial this weekend, we are taking donations for the school kids. The principal has asked for children’s socks, underwear, sweatpants and boots. We will have a box to collect donations by the door (by the way we are only using door 3 for the weekend)

To all those who have volunteered to work, thank you so much. We will have a free lunch for those volunteers

See everyone on Saturday (or Friday at 4:30 if you want to help set up)

Jean

What a wonderful weekend for a scent trial. Thank you if you came out to spend some of it with us at the beautiful Camp Chief Little Turtle on the Anthony Wayne scout Reservation. To put on a trial it takes so many to bring it together and we would like to thank each of you on doing such a great job, without you, there is no trial. First is our trial committee: Trial chair Lynn Swager, Kate Barton, Cathy Martin, Patrice Reider and Jean Smith. Then is our panel of 7 judges: Debbie Thurston, Tony Gravley, Cindy Angiulo, Jayne Meyer, June Mitchell, Ann Spurrier and Liz McLeod, thanks for such a great job, help and patience. Next, a thanks to all those who volunteered to spend time working the trial. Weather you took time away from your dogs, or you came in to spend some time with us this weekend to help, it was greatly appreciated. And finally a special thanks to our trial secretary Kate Barton who does such a great job.
Hope you had a great weekend too, and hope to see you next year!

Another very successful trial weekend for the club at the UKC shows. Each year I say this by we have the best volunteers. This show is a huge undertaking having to put down the old mats, bring gates plus have enough people to steward 3 tables. Big thank you to Patrice Reider and Kelly Urick. You guys make this so much more enjoyable! Nancy Wright, you rocked the obedience and rally table, Sharon Cullman the SPOT check offs, Kathy Dullahan, Kate Barton and Cathy Martin filling in everywhere! Our fearless leader, Steve, your help and support are so appreciated. I know I forgot people, all those who came to help set up and tear down, you are amazing! Everyone should be proud of our club!

Public service announcement - If you're mailing a dog show entry, always put your return address (inc name) on the envelope. I have a day of mail that appears to be lost, but have been able to contact everyone and they will be entered in the trial. I use the USPS informed mail service so I get an email every day with copies of all envelopes out for delivery. Without the return addresses, I have no proof that an entry was mailed.
