Pets are not placed in kennels for hours and we do not use kennel dryers. Instead staff in

We are so thankful for our amazing clients. We had another busy week and thank you all for trusting us with your pets.

All of our talented groomers are booked until the end of April- beginning of May. We highly recommend scheduling your appointments in advance if you don't already do so. If you don't have an appointment and we don't have availability when you are wanting, we can add you to our cancelation list.

It's great walking weather! Stanley is so happy and chill after a nice long walk. He does so good on his hands free leash even when he sees other dogs, kids playing basketball, bicyclists and scooters. If you are having a difficult time enjoying outdoor activities with your dog(s), due to naughty behaviors, I highly recommend Flying Colors Canine Academy, Inc.

We have had an influx of calls and texts of potential new clients recently. We are excited to meet all of these new pups. If you are interested in booking with one of our very talented groomers you can reach us by texting (preferred) or calling (260) 443-3432 during business hours. All of our groomers are currently booking 4-6 weeks out during the week, Thursday evenings and Saturday appointments are further out. If we don't have the specific day or time you are looking for we can always add you to our cancelation list.

Let's talk about warts. These warts are sometimes called moles but appear to be light pink and can resemble cauliflower or brains. Warts appear more in puppies and senior dogs due to these age groups having a more difficult time fighting off infections and warts are spread by a virus. Sometimes these warts can ooze due to a release of fluid from the wart. Sometimes these warts can also bleed from scratching, biting or if they become infected. Sometimes during the grooming process these warts can be opened up by washing, blow drying, brushing or clippering. As professionals we always try our best to not cause irritations to these warts. We do recommend if your dog has an oozing wart to try your best at home to keep it clean. This will help limit the amount of build up and lessen the likeliness of infection.

Today's a special post for Toby groomed by Emily. He was recently diagnosed with lymphoma so today while there were many tears shed there were a lot of snuggles, kisses and laughs too. We ended the appointment with playing ball which he loved 💜.

Did you know your dogs allergies can be related to their gut health? An imbalanced gut microbiome can cause allergy symptoms like itchy skin, hair loss, hives and ear infections. Other symptoms of an imbalanced gut in dogs include gas, bloating, diarrhea, abdominal pain, bad breath, hyperactivity, weight loss or gain, gum disease, joint pain and lethargy. If your dog suffers from any of these symptoms we recommend taking a look at the ingredients in their food. It is recommended to eliminate chicken, corn, soy, wheat, eggs and nuts. Changing food can take up to 6 months before noticing a difference. If your dog is on a prescription diet and suffering from any of these symptoms we highly recommend consulting your veterinarian before changing their food.

Short video on how to line brush. Depending on your dogs coat texture and length would determine how often you should be brushing at home. It could be anywhere from every day to 1-2 times a week.
