Miss Emily's Pet Salon is full-service from the wiggle of their nose to the tips of the tails (including brushing teeth, nail trimming, ear cleaning and gland expression). We return not just pretty or handsome but healthy dogs and cats. Miss Emily's Pet Salon offers a low stress hands-on grooming experience. Pets are not placed in kennels for hours and we do not use kennel dryers. Instead staff in

teracts with the pet the entire time, including using hand-held velocity dryers, which helps reduce pet stress. A stress free experience helps the pet look forward to a trip to the spa. The shampoos we use during our grooming services are soap free without harsh skin damaging detergents that can dull coats and lead to more serious skin issues. The salon is growing again and we are looking for another full time assistant. This position includes but is not limited to answering calls/text, checking in and out clients, scheduling appointments, cleaning, laundry and bathing and drying dogs. This position is paid an hourly rate + tips with one Saturday off a month, paid holidays and one week paid vacation after one year of employment. Hello, just a reminder about scheduling out for the year, our 2025 books are not open, we are just collecting information at this time. Schedules will not be handed out any earlier than October no later than December. We work on these schedules during our "free" time. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We have not opened our books for 2025 yet, but for those that like to schedule through the year we will start collecting your information now. We had well over 400 clients schedule through 2024 (which we were not expecting), so we are going to try a get a jump start on it earlier this year. The information we need is your preferred day and time, back up day and time, frequency of appointments and preferred groomer and back up groomer if you have one.

As some of you already know Huei is planning on retiring at the end of this year to be a stay at home mom. We are really going to miss her as I'm sure you all will too. We can help you pick another groomer in our salon to schedule with that would be best suited for your pet.

Short video on how to line brush. Depending on your dogs coat texture and length would determine how often you should be brushing at home. It could be anywhere from every day to 1-2 times a week.

The boys are still passing out their birthday cake today. If you come in today, grab a piece or 2 for your pup.

The boys had a great time at their birthday party yesterday. Emily made a ton of dog safe cake, so we will have it out again today and tomorrow to share with their pup friends. Please grab a piece or 2 while you're here. Ingredients are listed next to the cake and their birthday post from yesterday.

Toby gives the biggest smiles when you tell him he's a handsome boy. Just a reminder if you reach out to us outside of business hours we will return your message the following day by the end of the day.
