Happy National Kangaroo Awareness Day!
Blink and you'll miss it. π¦ Is there anything more joey-ful than a joey popping its head out to wish you a happy #NationalKangarooAwarenessDay?
At around five and a half months, a joey will poke its head out of its mother's pouch, but only for short periods of time! As they get older, they will begin to hop out of the pouch to explore the world around it. Visit the Kangaroo Yard to learn more about the joeys in our care.
