Waiting on official diagnosis for Samson, but I will be posting another fundraiser. We will definitely need some help with the cost of the medication he will need to be on for possible EPM, this can be a life threatening infection if not treated early when symptoms begin to show their ugly face, as you know, Homer Samson is a rescue that I took in only hours away from going to Mexico, he came to me so skinny and severely depressed, abandoned and discarded, he has been such a blessing here and nursed back to health, and he shows his love and gratitude daily, so we need to continue the fight for him.

He has been tripping and today he fell again, pretty sure I know the diagnosis, but will wait for my vet to confirm. 😔

Being in the horse rescue/sanctuary industry is probably the hardest and most emotional job I have ever had, it is financially draining as well, so, when someone steps up and helps it’s more appreciated than most people understand, right down to just buying a bottle of fly spray, so I have to send a HUGE thank you and shout out to Lisa Ritt Isenhour for helping in so many ways on this journey to ensure these babies here at Texas Safe Harbor Equine Sanctuary are taken care of, she so kindly and graciously purchased these stall mats that were in great need today for our herd, what an amazing gift for the horses. Thank you!!! ♥️🐴🙏

BoBo got his first official bath, I’m so proud of him, he truly trusts me and he really loved it, he was a little unsure at first, but then was moving towards the water hose!!

Super prayers for my ♥️🐴 Samson, came home from work and he almost immediately went down, stayed with him, gave him meds, finally got him up, good Poopies, went from one nursing job straight to another.
Huge shout out to my precious friend Carol Mimms for being with me on the phone and talking to me as we tried to figure out what was going on.
