Wrapping up our Halloween posts with this crazy kitten crew! Chunkz, Niko, AJ, and Nella decided to be Halloween decoration hunters this year for Halloween! Pumpkins, trees, and bats beware - they are very vicious and scary!

Sweet, affectionate playful purr monsters. Kai more velcro. Cato more energetic than his sister, sleeps in odd positions & turns anything into a toy.

Zombie fights for cuddles, he will not be ignored! He loves to be petted and held and will lay on your lap purring for a long time. He is also very playful and then crashes in his bed or your lap for a nap. He is really hoping to find a new home before Halloween so he can cuddle up and watch scary movies!

Vamprina is ready for Halloween! She doesn’t have too many tricks, but has a lot of treats! She enjoys being held and cuddled. Being held like a baby is her favorite. She is not afraid of anything or anyone, even those spooky ghosts don’t scare her! She is great with kids so is excited to see all of the trick-or-treaters come by!

Update: Miss Kitty was adopted at the vet office!
Miss Kitty showed up at the home of an elderly couple who cannot keep her. They loved her so much they have paid for shots and spay, and are boarding her hoping the right adopter will come along soon. She was probably dumped or abandoned by her owners. Smart kitty found help all on her own.

Miss Kitty is estimated to be under a year old, perhaps 9 months as of 9/2024.

Miss Kitty is not shy and comes right up to us. She loves having her back and tummy rubbed. She would love a family/home that would love her and give her the attention she so rightly deserves. Her sweet demeanor is noticed almost immediately upon interacting with her. She has been an outside cat ever since she came into our yard about 7 weeks ago. She is delightful and we are so anxious for her to have a forever home with folks that can give her love and attention.

Everyone at the clinic says she is so precious and loves being with them. But each day is costing these people money. We are helping them out by advertising her.

Miss Kitty is estimated to be under a year old, perhaps 9 months as of 9/2024. How she will do with kids, other cats or dogs is unknown. But she wasn't beaten up so that is encouraging.

💕😻FORT WORTH FEATURE KITTY: CHARLOTTE 😻💕

Charlotte is a 2 year old stunning white, grey and beige snowshoe Siamese. Charlotte is playful and energetic and loves to chase the feather toy that is at the end of a stick. She is courteous though and will wait patiently for her turn, allowing her little kittens to play first. Once they are done playing with it or when they have moved onto some other little entertainment, Charlotte pounces in the air to catch the bird-like feather! She also knows how to cozy up in her cat tree and spend time re-charging her energy for her next play.

This young cat is affectionate and loves to be with her humans, following them around and snuggling next to them when they are lounging or even sleeping. Charlotte is also quite the chatter-box! She walks around talking every time someone is around to listen and even speaks in a little purr-y, sing-song-like voice. She loves to be petted and will gladly meet and welcome anyone that comes to HER house ?

She has tested positive for FIV but is healthy and expected to live a normal and long life.

Good with cats, kittens and children.
She is probably around 2 years old and still very youthful and playful. She was found outside a Fort Worth residents’ house just after having given birth to her kittens. Meowtown was contacted and we took her and her babies in from the elements when the babies were only one day old.

She attentively and patiently tended to her babies, addressing all their needs with a mother’s sense and love! Raising all of them into perfectly healthy and adorable tiny little tigers, she is now ready to find her very own human to love and care for her!! She will definitely reciprocate the joy, support and love that a furry companion provides!

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother's Day!! We wanted to celebrate and highlight some of the wonderful mothers in our lives! We have several great mamas with Meowtown right now that are working hard taking care of their babies. Once their babies are fully weaned and are ready for adoption then the sweet mamas get spayed and ready for adoption themselves. A lot of people overlook the mamas, so we wanted to highlight a few of them today that will be ready for adoption soon. After all, what better day to remember mamas need some loving and papmering sometimes too! Our first mama we wanted to highlight is Charlotte! She has been so loving and patient with her growing babies and takes such great care of them. She is a very affectionate cat towards her foster family as well and they have enjoyed having her with them! She is still taking care of her five babies, but will be available for adoption later this summer!

Everyone has a different way of celebrating the holidays. Here at Meowtown Animal Rescue of Fort Worth, we like to celebrate by looking at adorable pictures of available cats/kittens! Mama Rosa wants nothing more than her very own forever home this holiday season! Mama Rosa came to Meowtown last Spring after being left outside, very pregnant, when her owners moved. Rosa had her babies outside and it appears had some scuffles with other kitties while defending herself and her babies. As a result, Rosa doesn’t trust other kitties and needs a home of her very own.
