Meet our newest friend Pearl. She was found emaciated and scared, and suffering from a shotgun wound. She made her way to the property of veterinarianDr. Ryan Cate who performed life saving care and an emergency amputation. Pearl is now part of the Noah’s Ark Petting Farm family and will be coming with us on our Special Friends (Differently Abled) Program as well as our Reading Buddy Library Program!! Pearl shows us that her life is still full of paws-abilities!! Help us get Pearl a prosthetic leg at the following link!! And please share!

At a church Fun Run in Southlake this morning enjoying this beautiful weather!! Also they asked me to park in an area where I got to back up my trailer through a narrow porte cache full of tables AND parallel park — I prayed and did it perfectly … so “surely the Lord is in this place”!! 🤣🥰🤣🥰

Every so often we get the privilege of celebrating the birthday of a child in foster care. As a former foster family we try to give back to the foster care community whenever we have an opportunity. Please remember these amazing children caught up in a very imperfect overly burdened system, please pray for them, pray for the foster parents who love without promises or security of what tomorrow brings, pray for the social workers who make less per hour than many fast food workers in spite of heavy workloads and burdensome decisions, and please don’t forget to find the grace to pray for those biological parents who may be trying to find strength to fix their brokenness. There is so much to pray for in this area, however one thing is clear: every child deserves to be celebrated. If you know of a child in foster care with an upcoming birthday reach out to us. We do as many free parties as we can handle - and if there are more we have beautiful people who have reached out to say they will sponsor the overflow. Last but not least—— Much love to all the foster parents still out there fighting the good fight and shining their light in the darkness!! Yesterday we did an event at a school for kids with autism, most were pretty high level with little verbal communication and quite a bit of stemming. They had learned about farm animals and were SOOOO excited to meet the animals and touch the different fur, feathers & textures. We have very tame and patient animals and along with their aides we were able to guide and remind not to squeeze etc and got through every type of animal together. I was blessed by these kids’ excitement and noises and clapping— we do these types of programs often and it’s an amazing experience. Parents of kids who are different, your kids are beautiful too! Don’t ever forget that!! Side note if you are a special education teacher you are doing God’s work, these teachers were so happy to see their kids’ excitement.
