Wow! 705 animals found there new homes. What a beautiful sight to see. 🙌❤️🫶🐶

Thanks to our incredible North Texas community, we had 705 adoptions at our MEGA Adoption Event! We couldn't have done it without all the participating shelters, the people who showed up to save lives, HSNT staff and volunteers, everyone who helped us spread the word, and of course, Petco Love, Clear the Shelters, NBC DFW, Telemundo 39 and BOBS from SKECHERS.

sad update- mom was found deceased this morning 💔 she made the ultimate sacrifice and made sure her babies were safe. they have the sweetest guardian angel now 🪽
update: Mutts n Such Rescue is going to take the puppies! They are also assisting the citizen with trying to capture mom & will take her into the rescue as well! 🙏🏼 Prayers she comes back!!

FOSTERS NEEDED FOR 6 DAY OLD PUPPIES!
Currently with an incredible Fort Worth citizen- they can be processed through FWACC if fosters are found or if a rescue group with fosters can step up that would be even better!

“Stray mama had 6 babies under our shed. She is extremely malnourished and scared. She would leave babies frequently so we set up a living situation for the babies for mom to come back to behind the shed. It took her 3 days to lay down finally and try to nurse - but she is very tired and sick. She has left for 8 hour + long stretches at a time. If we go near her she will trot away. As of 8/18, mama has been gone for 24 hours so we brought them inside. We are looking for foster/s to alleviate the work of six puppies! They are 6 days old. Mom definitely needs medical attention so if we can get her back to our shed area I would love to try to trap her and save her. We have a ring camera set up to monitor if she comes back.”

Poor Amethyst has been at the shelter for 83 days and counting. She has been on the last call/euthanasia list repeatedly but is miraculously still alive!! Let’s find her her forever home at the Mega Adoption Event on Sunday so she doesn’t have to go back to the shelter and risk euthanasia again.

Why is nobody saving this 6 month old dog friendly cutie! 😭 he went last call back on July 24th and somehow is still alive but nobody is saving him. We’ve posted him over 10 times and just don’t get it. Please someone save him before he’s euthanized simply for space.

This boy is incredibly sweet but needs some training. After spending time in a foster home, it’s clear he requires professional guidance. Although it’s hard to determine his exact breed mix, he exhibits herding behaviors and needs to improve his social cues with other dogs. He is friendly with dogs but sometimes struggles to understand when they signal that he's being too much. He doesn’t do well with small dogs.
Toby was brought in as a stray on April 27th and is eager to find his perfect home! His time as a stray shows in his need for improvement in manners and overall behavior. Toby would thrive in a home with either no dogs or one dog and would make an excellent hiking buddy for an active person. He has so much love to give, and we want to find the right home for him.
