Maddie enjoyed a super fun day at the lake on Memorial Day! She chased and swam after her ZoomieRex Fantastug over and over again! It was even popular with her new friends, Marley and Bubba (Marley gave Maddie a little healthy competition! 🏊‍♀️🐕🏊‍♂️🦮

Maddie had a blast this weekend in Cloudcroft, NM! 🏔 She made a new friend, Diego, enjoyed hiking in the Lincoln National Forest, tried to leap over a rock retaining wall to her daddy on the golf course, and enjoyed all the new sniffs! 🐕 🌲 We ❤️ how Maddie comes alive in the mountains enjoying all the long hikes and cool temperatures. 🐕❤️🏔🌲

I personally use this p**p bag holder on Maddie’s leash. I love the design and ease of use (Velcro opening to insert roll and slit to easily work bags through). But, the best feature of these one-of-a-kind bag holders is that they are made from recycled festival banners keeping them out of a landfill! You’ll love the fun designs that result! 💚🌍

We couldn’t post anything more before pausing to honor Maddie’s best friend, Ellie who we lost last week.😢 Our love and prayers are with the Kieta family who gave sweet Ellie a wonderful life. ❤️ Ellie was a special soul who thought of herself more as a lapdog, but could turn it on quickly if she needed to assist Maddie in stalking a pesky squirrel or guard the house whenever she heard anything close to a bell.🤣 Aunt Merryl and Uncle Lester will miss Ellie wedging herself into the tightest spaces to be near us and cuddle. Maddie will miss wearing Ellie down to play a game of tug, playing soccer in the backyard, “greeting” every passerby on Angus Dr., and incessantly giving Ellie kisses and cleaning her ears. It never got old to see them absolutely lose their minds with excitement when reunited. I trust that these sweet sisters will have that opportunity again one day. 🐾💕🐾💕
